A video circulating online shows a robot stepping in as a shelving unit began tipping toward a young girl. The #robot moved into position, helping block the fall just long enough for adults to pull the child away—prompting many to claim the robot rescued her.

According to the company, the robot wasn’t programmed for rescue behavior. Why it reacted at that moment is still unclear.
