Soccer Classroom is dedicated to helping volunteer soccer coaches find fun, inspiring and positive ways to develop youth soccer players. By using a "player-first" mentality, coaches will see the big picture of player development which leads to long-term success on the field.

Soccer Classroom is Jerry's "community service" project. Through this online coaching platform, Soccer Classroom reaches over six thousand fans on Facebook and over half a million coaches and players in countries all over the world. The magnified resulting impact on players and teams is immeasurable.

McCoy and Company (MAC), the commercial arm of North Florida Field Services, Inc., spun out from the parent company in December 2014. Utilizing the same white collar approach to a blue collar business, MAC services Property Managers, Owners and Architects in realizing their construction visions.

NFFS General Contractors

Founded in 2007 by Marti McCoy with $5,000 and a borrowed trailer, NFFS General Contractors has grown to be a leader in the REO home repair, property preservation, maintenance and inspection of residential homes. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida with additional offices in Tampa, NFFS completes restoration work across the state of Florida for Banks, Hedge Funds and Equity Funds. Totally Soccer is a leading provider of soccer jerseys, uniforms and field equipment to teams and clubs across the country. The direct from the factory approach makes buying soccer gear easier, cheaper and faster.

Totally Soccer leveraged its infrastructure and systems to smartly branch into other sports to offset seasonality and increase buying power. The company owns and operates a suite of sports websites that sells custom sports uniforms.

Jogo is a leading producer of team sports apparel throughout North America. To secure his Management Consultant Visa, Jerry was certified as an expert in the US soccer market. In this position, he built systems and procedures to align manufacturing, sales and marketing.

Soccer Post is a franchise company specializing in providing soccer equipment to youth and adult teams, clubs and leagues. Jerry helped the organization grow from a single location to expanding the operation to thirty-five stores selling over $15MM across the country. As VP of Operations, Jerry wrote the training manual, opened the stores and interfaced with vendors such as Nike and Adidas.

Gloucester City School District

Working under Assistant Superintendent, align district curricula and programs to confirm consistent learning continuum and meet expectations of QSAC reporting. Conduct teacher evaluations and follow-up meetings to ensure quality of instruction. Collaborate with staff members to create and monitor SGOs. In conjunction with building administrators, design agendas, structure learning goals, and lead PLCs. Superintendent’s Award recipient January 2022.
•Formally observe over 50 PreK-12 teachers annually, utilizing the McREL Teacher Evaluation System. Transitioned effectively to incorporate portfolio evaluations for teachers during remote learning. Submit Staff Evaluation data to NJDOE Homeroom. 
•Assist with writing Title I Schoolwide plans and district and school-level PDPs. 
•Serve as System Manager for onboarding of OnCourse School Information System (SIS). Working with principals, create class cohorts and rosters for scheduling. 
•Plan and implement district and building professional development days. Coordinate with outside presenters as needed and assure facilities are properly equipped. Created remote trainings during pandemic. 
•Provide training to new and veteran staff for a variety of technology programs and management systems, including LinkIt, IXL, Freckle, OnCourse Curriculum Portal, PowerSchool, and Classworks. 
•Routinely analyze class, school, and district data from LinkIt benchmarks and assessments, adjusting curriculum pacing to advance student achievement. 
•Organized evaluation committee for new K-12 literacy program adoption, contacting publishers, previewing components with teachers, and establishing training for selected blended program. 
•Write budget and grant for and oversee execution of district Summer Foods Program.

Gloucester City High School

Observed PreK-12 staff throughout district utilizing McREL tools. Provided support for teachers struggling with differentiation, management, or instructional strategies. Assisted with discipline, as needed. 
•Assist with writing Title I Schoolwide plans for federal and state compliance. 
•Developed questionnaire to survey district staff for PD needs, analyzed results, and designed district professional development plan and individual plans for 3 buildings. 
•Developed and managed Remediation Program serving more than 60 students at Gloucester City Middle School. 
•Assisted Curriculum Director with ordering resources for upcoming year, maintaining technology account relationships with Freckle, LinkIt, and ConnectedEd.

Gloucester City Middle School

Utilized data to identify, design and deliver needed professional development to improve instruction. Guided teachers in utilizing data to adjust classroom instruction for student success. Modeled lessons and co-taught to support staff members’ differentiation practices. Served as a liaison between teachers, principals and curriculum department to provide a cohesive school community. 
•Increased 2016 PARCC scores between 5% and 21% in Reading and Math in grades 4-6. Through daily classroom coaching, increased ELA PARCC scores to outperform the NJ state average in two 4th grade classes. 
•Provided small-group support to 4th grade teachers during reading and writing instruction to increase PARCC scores by 21% 
•Worked as Case Manager and member of I&RS Team. 
•Created Tier III Remediation tutoring schedule to provide services for students performing 18 months or more below grade level. 
•Served on Summer Curriculum Writing Team, revising existing curricula and writing new documents to align with adopted standards. 
•Served on committee developing standards-based report cards. 
•Peer-selected as January 2018 Employee of the Month.

Successfully taught in a variety of learning environments, including co-teaching models aligning instruction with IEP and grade-level goals.
