Using Matlab, R, and Julia to develop multivariate and single variate models and analysis (MVA/UVA) for tool fault detection. These models are then used to shut down tools used in the semiconductor manufacturing process, notify stake holders, and mark up lots for real-time detection analysis (RDA). Projects also include building complex yield models from tool data and automating alarm rule setup as well as fab wide tool fingerprinting to identify rogue behavior even if alarms are not present.

I am also very busy on the web app side building PHP/Mysql wrappers to give engineers access to big data solutions. Hoping to switch soon to python/django/postgres. Also using custom built SQL queuing system that I designed on the backend to manage user loading for job requests.

I watch the watchers, I direct the learners. 

I am passionate about machine learning. My life's mission is to further the boundaries of what is possible with data science. I spend as much time as I can working with deep learning, NLP, and all forms of data science. I currently have a passion project I am managing where I am combining the power of genetic programming with deep learning to automate network design. I think there is a trend happening in data science where human expertise and creativity are being replaced by powerful new methods (i.e. deep learning, big data). 

I am most well known for my machine learning work with the data science community and with HireVue. With the community, I enjoy posting opinions on jobs and tutorials on ML methods. I also enjoy speaking and presenting to all types of audiences. 

I've enjoyed working across engineering, product, sales, marketing, and customer success. This wider POV has helped shape the way I think about innovation, from the innovation farm to the customer's table ;)

WPS Health Solutions

•	Leads 25+ direct and indirect reports spanning the areas of Data Science, Analytics, Process Automation, and Workforce Optimization.
•	Developed and executed a strategy focused on advancing enterprise analytics maturity, starting with intuitive data visualizations in executive level dashboards and building up through data science and artificial intelligence.
•	Acted as the business owner of a project that implemented a new externally facing reporting server to allow our customers to access WPS-owned reports. As business owner, I coordinated resources from automation, analytics, and security teams to deploy the solution on time and helped trouble shoot issues pre-deployment.

•	Collaboration with Drs. Perry Pickhardt and Jill Barnes to perform statistical analysis, including logistic regression, survival analysis, and data visualizations leading to 21 academic publications.
•	Focused on analysis that would improve clinical best practices rather than overly complex statistical analysis.
•	Reviewed and edited medical academic manuscripts from a non-clinical and non-statistician point of view, focusing on the holistic story the paper is trying to tell.
•	Served as a statistical collaborator for the Institute for Clinical & Translational Research (ICTR), Department of Radiology, and other departments as needed in the School of Medicine and Public Health.
•	Analyzed multicenter, phase III clinical trial data data and communicated results to a non-statistical audience, producing interim safety reports for an Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC).
•	Instructor for graduate-level biostatistics classes taught towards non-statistics majors with over 100 students each semester, managing three teaching assistants to ensure timely delivery of homework, cohesiveness, and overall quality of discussion sections.

•	Developed a method to segment women’s health professionals into 5 tiers to allow better targeting and communication methods for sales representatives.
•	Created new segmentation methods for all health care providers for the inside sales team to refocus efforts on metrics most important for business growth.
•	Modeled Cologuard data to inform efficient patient recruitment for the BLUE-C clinical trial.

•	Collaborated in cross-functional teams to build out modeling processes and standardizing deliverables.
•	Acted as a data science liaison by presenting information in an easily digestible manner, presenting on hypothesis testing at CUNA Mutual’s Analytics in Motion conference to a largely non-statistical audience, and creating both plan and ad hoc presentations for leadership, explaining machine learning techniques in plain language.
•	Wrote scripts in R, SQL, and other programs to merge data sources, build models, and create visualizations from large amounts of data.

•	Operated and maintained $1.3MM in state-of-the-art biological detection equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results that supported critical mission objectives.
