Monroe County Long Term Care Program

Compiled and synthesized research for medicare study on persons with disabilities, in order to build anonymized case studies about patient experiences within the study. Reviewed thousands of cases and built out profiles for senior leadership. The study focused on the use of innovative nurse models of care management designed to improve the quality of life and health outcomes of older persons experiencing multiple chronic conditions (MCC), depression, and disability. This research was related to the Medicare Primary and Consumer-Directed Care Medicare Demonstration (MCPC), an randomized control (RCT) trial conducted across 3 states, providing comprehensive care management to community-dwelling older Medicare beneficiaries (n=1600) who had an existing disability and prior use of healthcare (e.g. hospitalizations). Outcome evaluation of the study favorable health outcomes among participants (e.g., less disability worsening) as well as a reduction in healthcare cost and use. Notably, this trial was one of only 6 studies to achieve less disability among these older persons who were experiencing high levels of health complexity.

I was responsible for leading the marketing and business development efforts in the Southeast U.S. for RMF Engineering out of the North Carolina office. I led a team of marketers and engineers, guiding regional marketing campaigns, partnerships and growth. RMF is one of the largest energy, building, and utility systems engineering firms in the country. We provided engineering design, consulting, and commissioning services for building and infrastructure to clients in a range of markets, including: higher education, hospitals, military, government and other high end/high tech facilities. 

My job focused on leading marketing strategy for the region, building partnerships, designing marketing collateral, managing PR efforts, and leading new client acquisition campaigns.  I was also responsible for working with our engineering team to pursue business opportunities, managing internal marketing and RFP's, advertising, public relations, design needs for the region. I worked directly with C-suite leadership on brand strategy, planning, business development, managing proposals and leading various initiatives for NC and surrounding markets.
