I am a world record-holding mountaineer, exited entrepreneur, global keynote speaker, and mother of seven who reinvented her life after a near-fatal car accident forced a hard question:

What would I do if time were no longer guaranteed?

Before that moment, I had never slept in a tent.
I had never climbed a mountain.

Since then, I became the first woman to climb the second-highest peak on every continent, built and exited a financial services firm, and now work with leaders operating where decisions carry real consequence and the margin for error is thin.

I don’t teach motivation.
I teach courageous clarity.

Because the real breakdown for high performers, founders, executives, and sales leaders is rarely a lack of discipline.
It’s hesitation.

Knowing what matters.
But not acting on it.

On the mountain, hesitation gets you killed.
In leadership and sales, it quietly costs you trust, momentum, health, and conviction.

ActiveTraveler.tv is a division of Television Events & Marketing Inc.

In our history, we have produced over 335 feature television shows based upon active lifestyle and endurance sports with a distribution platform that includes ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox Sports, Amazon TV and others. Our team has won 47 Emmy and Telly Awards for production excellence. The reach and impact of this TV distribution platform in 2017 exceeded 55 million viewers in the USA and this does not include incremental international distribution on ESPN International and European syndication.

The Explorers Club

2020: Provided  logistical support for my mentor, Vanessa O´Brien, on her expedition to the Challenger Deep with Victor Vescovo. Vanessa will be the first woman in the world to dive to the deepest part of the Ocean as well as the second person in the world to complete the Explorers Maximum. 

2020: Supported the Explorers Club Annual Polar Film Festival and supported distribution of the world´s first virtual reality tour of Antarctica. Providing continued support to the Antarctic Heritage Trust. 

2019: Inducted into the Explorers Club as a member. Upon returning from guiding a trek in Peru, I participated in conversations at the United Nations about protecting the Himalaya as led by Nepal´s Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli. 

2019: Became a NOLS Certified Outdoor Responder. 

2017: After completing an unspported cycling trip from Canada to Mexico, I raised $40,000 to fund financially restricted students on adventure dreams of their own. I won the Live Your Dream Grant Award from the American Alpine Club and North Face and presented at the AAC´s Annual Dinner at the Union Club. 

2013 - Present: I founded an outdoor education program in Jersey City, NJ. I have guided students on trips all over the world (US National Parks, Costa Rica, Peru, France, and more) teaching young people about the importance of enduring hardship, overcoming adversity, and becoming self-sufficient and sustainable stewards of the environment.

Project H.E.R.O is a tutoring initiative of Charleston County School District and Americorps*SC focused on closing the achievement gap through targeted literacy programs and Vision 2016, which seeks to increase literacy levels and the graduation rate in the North Charleston School District.
•	Tutored students in high-poverty elementary schools 
•	Average increase per student of 22.9 (national average is 13) points in RIT scores from fall to spring
•	Mentored students on individual basis and in small-group settings
•	Supported teachers in preparing low-income and minority students for academic success
•	Every student that was tutored improved, several students went from 27th percentile to 75th percentile on MAP tests
