I am passionate about all things tax for small business so I generate financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships & SMSF's, including income tax returns & tax returns for individuals as a tax agent. I changed my career having extensive management experience in warehousing & distribution, convenience store & self employment as a taxi driver. I place great importance in continuing education & humility.

I am also passionate about a few things close to my heart such as cancer, mental health & specifically suicide prevention. I am against any form of bullying. 

So I will raise these issues, participate in sporting challenges such as surfing, planking & push-ups, while also requesting donations for these service providers.

It's another Fun Friday 😁🎉.

Do you make some late night or early morning sacrifices to support your LinkedIn connections overseas?

We assume we are in similar time zones, but the reality being connected world wide with an internet connection we can be anywhere.

And be domiciled in Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺, I seem to be at times on the opposite side of the world.

My great friend, Courtney Beck from Florida, USA announced a zoom meeting as she was interviewing Ambreen Nadeem from Saudi Arabia about her book, The Algorithm of Life, which is one of my favourite books which explains the psychology of how we see ourselves, describes our Soul and the power of Dreams and Visualisation.

The time of the zoom was their evening and without thinking I clicked the "attend" button discovering it was my 6.00 am start time 🤔.

Now I would pass if it was a 2 am - 3 am start, but I wake up every week day at 5.30am to squeeze in my daily exercise.

Admittedly I was 5 minutes late logging in, but there were about  10 faces actively listening to Courtney and Ambreen.

Ambreen's book explains the psychology behind the actions I took with a gutsy life changing experience.

I quickly said that 20 years ago (it was actually 25 years ago) after seeing a graduation ceremony I promised myself that one day I would be one of those people standing on stage receiving a university degree.

I constantly dreamed and visualised seeing myself on stage and the energy so powerful I worked on how I could apply the practical steps to achieve my dream. 

I studied full time 4 days a week while driving   a taxi for the other 3 days to pay the bills. 

It sounded crazy because I was already married with 2 kids and a mortgage.

The magic was I had achieved in life what Ambreen's book explains before her book was published.

There has been a terrible shooting incident this afternoon at Bondi Beach in Sydney where 12 people have died.

My family are all safe as we were home at the time and our hearts go out to everyone who has been impacted 🙏.

One brave man disarmed one of the 3 shooters. 

Stay safe and please say a prayer 🙏🙏🙏.

It's another Fun Friday 😁🎉.

Do you like to eat hot 🔥 and spicy 🌶️ food?

We had a lazy Saturday last week and after an acupuncture session on my lower back, following by a 5 minute hair cut we sit down at Mr Stone Bowl in Chatswood for a lunch menu. 

With 3 of us we order 3 dishes. 

It seems to be the norm for food ordering, one dish per person. . 

I point to one dish (pan fried pork buns) and I'm told its in the order 😋. 

The first dish "hot and sour soup" - its both hot, tanggy with a sour taste that light up the senses. 

Second, "stir fried rice with truffle paste beef". I love a fried rice and combined with beef and spices it hits the spot 😋😋. 

Finally, you have to be careful with "pan fried pork buns". Its prepared with a frozen soup inside, but it's super hot when it comes out of the oven and you really need 10 minutes sitting time, because if you bite into it too soon, you will burn your tongue and the roof of your mouth 😢. 

So these dishes adventurous and eat with caution 😂. 

I have one Malaysian friend, who kenot eat spicy food and he loves the smell and taste of Malaysia's favourite fruit, but I am U-turning too fast and too furious at the hint of its smell 🤮🤮🤮.

Just a reminder to all my Malaysia and Singapore friends, I dun like the smell or taste of Durians (lulians) 🤮🤮🤮.

Have you heard of the "pub test"?

It is probably not what you think.

It is not about how much alcohol you can consume at a pub 🙄. 

"The pub test" is an Australian (Aussie 🇦🇺) slang term for common sense or fairness applied to things like a policy, action or idea.

Questions asked are does it seem fair and reasonable or does it look dodgy to the average person, as if it were a conversation between friends at a pub 🍻.

The pub test is usually brought up when politicians appear to be pushing boundaries.

While it might be legal it could still be considered wrong.

Travel rorts appear to be a common theme with politicians, spending public money on themselves which seem extravagant and way beyond value for money.

Does a  return flight from Australia to New York and return for A$35,000.00 appear reasonable?

Here I am pictured in Germany 6 years ago holding the biggest glass of German beer 🍺waiting to be served a chicken schnitzel.

And no, I couldn't finish it 😢.

She is known as a Head Hunter turned Heart Hunter, matching hearts through her business Love Wins connecting people seeking relationships across the globe💜.

Yvonne Woi is a gifted mathematician, solving complex maths and perhaps physics problems previously teaching this subject to university students. So terererera clever. 

So as you can see Yvonne mixes her left brain with her right brain seemlessly.😁. 

What she shares are insights to  human behaviours regarding our fears, anxiety and desires wrapped up as an amazing story teller. 

She is a pint sized go getter, but, but, but I am oso small and I think Yvonne Woi is taller than me. 👻

She is definately one person I want to meet in person when I eventually visit Malaysia & Singapore in the future - nothing planned yet 🤷.
