With over 30 years of experience in the media industry, I am a podcast host and a media entrepreneur who is passionate about the future of work, leadership, and innovation. Transitioning into Cybersecurity Architecture and Secure Application Development

- Created and implemented processes for Active Directory Policy Exceptions. 
- Coded and developed advanced  PowerShell script for automatic Risk Assessment of Active Directory exceptions.

Application Security 

Presently, I am involved with the vulnerability management team in developing application tools leveraging the Python, and Powershell, ensuring these cater to a broad spectrum of user requirements. Additionally, I am utilizing advanced DAX, M Query and data engineering to build custom measures and facilitate hosting these tools on Power BI for generic use. My primary project focus is Cloud Security Posture, Policy Exceptions,  Risk Prioritization, and Assurance. 

The tools I develop have significant applications in strategic decision-making scenarios, aiding senior leadership and key stakeholders by providing data-driven insights. These tools harness complex data sets and execute processes to extract and interpret meaningful information, which fosters evidence-backed decision-making and strategic planning. The resultant effect is a marked enhancement in business process optimization and an overall increase in the efficiency of decision-making within the organization.

- Project #1: Developed and programmed a custom search algorithm to search device information across 3 different data sources and display it in the front end application with an auto-refresh feature. This application dashboard was used by Ceridian IT team to ensure that all devices were update to-date with software and hardware requirements. 

- Project #2: Developed an internal status monitoring website to monitor status of servers, websites and products of Ceridian using react and nodeJS. 

- Project #3: Built a simple KPI dashboard to track the progress of different initiatives in the Cybersecurity Department in PowerBI using Python.

I am currently interning with Mossé Cyber Security Institute in their Remote Internship Programme in order to develop and acquire the industry desired practical skills. The experience I gain through successfully completing their practical skills Internship Programme will provide me with professional confidence, acumen and experience to apply for any industry technology or security team position. This also positions me to provide the rigour to research and deliver appropriate technology solutions, thus becoming a valued member of the IT community.

Some of the skills this remote internship programme imparts:

• Perform network vulnerability scans
• Exploit vulnerabilities with Metasploit
• Identify and exploit web application vulnerabilities without tools
• Write custom offensive security tools to aid Red Teaming operators

Remote Internship

As an Ignite Student in Fall 2019 at EPICentre, University of Windsor, I single-handedly helped organize the 3rd annual New Kids on the Blockchain Event on November 22nd, 2019. 

More than 90 students, academia and industry professionals attended the event and learned from various speakers and professionals about "Transformation to Decentralized Systems: The Future of Blockchain at your Workplace". 

In this position, the duties included:

- create creative posters, flyers and social media post for the symposium and workshop.
- recruit potential speakers for the symposium in different subject areas.
- Contact speakers for their availably, presentation topics, biography and pictures for the event
- Communicate with the EPICentre Team for event room booking, poster orders, eventbrite ticket processing, food orders and attendance tracking.
