Jeff is a highly qualified Education and Performance Development executive with 30+ years of progressive experience in program design and delivery, and 35+ years of engagement and project management experience. His expertise lies in his ability to identify organizational needs and develop training programs suited to all levels of personnel. Just as significant are his contributions to improved business performance, productivity, quality and profitability.

Jeff is a former Director and Account Manager with Intellinex, an eLearning venture of Ernst & Young, LLP and has helped manage and mentor thousands of people in many different organizations. Speaker and presenter on law practice and business law topics. I am a regular CLE speaker for Ohio attorneys. I also talk and provide legal information to small business owners.

My focus is on educating while entertaining. Traditional CLE-type presentations are normally dry lectures with bullet-filled powerpoints. I do not lecture. I create themes for each of my presentations and incorporate images, humor, and discussion as much as possible. I love the use of slides and believe they bring an additional dimension to auditory presentations, but I refuse to use bullet points.

I never wanted to be a solo lawyer running my own law practice.

Graduating from law school and passing the bar, the job market for those without guaranteed post-graduation employment was sparse. To pay the bills, I reluctantly rented an office across the hall from a law school buddy, set up a card table, and waited for the phone to ring.

During my legal career I have been a true solo, partnered with two other lawyers, was part of one of the first virtual law firms in the country, and was Of Counsel to small business law firm.

I have had to bootstrap and learn how to both practice law and run a law business on the fly. I have seen recessions, economic booms, and pandemics.

Now, in addition to running my own law practice, I help solo and small firm lawyers transform their law practices from something that causes stress and dictates their lives, to a business that provides them with the life they want. All while being a #LawyerDad to a 7-year old.
