Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, owns a $4 trillion dollar company

And yet his LinkedIn profile lists just TWO jobs:

His profile went viral, and people started calling it “the most inspiring LinkedIn profile ever.”

Here’s why his story resonates:

1/ Your first job doesn’t define your success

We’ve all had jobs that felt small or irrelevant. That’s normal.

What matters is what you take from them.

2/ Every experience matters

Jensen doesn’t list every role he’s had.

But even working at Denny’s gave him lessons in grit, humility, and service.

These are traits that shaped how he leads today.

3/ Careers aren’t linear

He went on to earn a Master’s from Stanford, worked as a chip designer at AMD and LSI Logic, while raising 2 children.

Me in my 20s:

- I want to buy a home
- I want to make 6 figures

Me in my 30s:

- I prioritize peace and presence

After hitting my “big goals” by 27, I still felt... empty.

Google launched a free AI learning tool

(and it’s so cool) 😱

It’s part of their new AI experiment called Learn Your Way,

and it’s one of the most intuitive tools I’ve seen for modern learners.

A few standouts:

☝🏼 It adapts to your grade level and your interests
✌🏼 It converts material into formats you’ll actually use (audio, mind maps, slides, etc.)
🤟🏼 It checks in with quizzes and memory boosters so the info actually sticks

Say you’re learning physics.. it’ll literally teach you with rocket examples if you’re into space.

No more boring, generic explanations (bye to old textbooks)

Show how today’s slip might impact next quarter’s growth or compliance.
That foresight sets you apart.

Effective project managers don’t just manage the plan.

You can be a PM without the title

Project management isn’t something you should wait to be promoted into.

It’s something you do (and build) long before it’s official.

Here’s how to prove you're already a PM + position yourself for that leap:

Start owning the room.
Offer to create agendas, track action items, and follow up. 
You’ll instantly show leadership and structure.

👉 Build the project rhythm
 
Create lightweight trackers, status updates, or decision logs.
Even if they’re not required. 
Demonstrating control over chaos is the hallmark of a PM.

👉 Speak the language of outcomes

Don’t just say what was done.
Show why it mattered.
Time saved, dollars reduced, problems solved, etc.
That’s the shift from participant to manager.

A project management title doesn't usually come first.

AI won't replace project managers

Why?

Because project management was never about inputs.

If your value is in updating trackers, sending reminders, and taking notes, then AI can replace you.

But the real value of a PM is in influence.  Not administration.

Turning chaos into clarity and conflict into alignment.

So how do you stay irreplaceable as AI reshapes the workplace?

☝️ Lead with transparency

With AI at our fingertips, data can become overwhelming.
A PM's ability to simplify complexity is a massive advantage.
Translate information to make next steps obvious.

✌️ Build emotional intelligence

AI can predict outcomes.  
But it can't read the room.
PMs need to be that someone that listens, absorbs, and actionably responds.
This brings calm to uncertainty and promotes progress.

🤟 Tell the story behind the numbers

AI is going to generate all your dashboards.
It can probably even connect those numbers to business outcomes.
You have to market why it matters and get decisions made to keep it moving.

🤘🤘 Influence without authority

As work becomes more automated, alignment become even more essential.
And it will continue to require human touch.
Lead through relationships, not control.

AI can automate the work.
It can generate all the frameworks.
And follow-up with a great, professional email.

But it can't make the work work.

Project management will always need a human touch.

Be ready.

If this was true, software would've replaced the project management role a long time ago.

Effective project management isn't just tracking tasks, it's driving outcomes to completion.

AI will be better than you at running schedules.

AI is going to track tasks for you.

AI will be able to send an automation when a task is late.
You have to align impact to business outcomes.
Especially when it's to goals bigger than your project.

✅ Elevate your influence

Invest time in stakeholder relationships.
Promote sponsor trust.
Nurture team motivation.
Orchestration happens through people, not tools.

✅ Lead with adaptability

Projects will continue to live in ambiguity.
AI will hit these limits.
PMs can't.  
So learn to flex, pivot, and keep people aligned.

AI can complete the checklist.

Effective project managers will make it matter.

Heard that one a time or two.

And it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Project managers rarely own the final decision.
But we drive the decision-making process.
And that’s leadership in action.
