Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, owns a $4 trillion dollar company

And yet his LinkedIn profile lists just TWO jobs:

His profile went viral, and people started calling it “the most inspiring LinkedIn profile ever.”

Here’s why his story resonates:

1/ Your first job doesn’t define your success

We’ve all had jobs that felt small or irrelevant. That’s normal.

What matters is what you take from them.

2/ Every experience matters

Jensen doesn’t list every role he’s had.

But even working at Denny’s gave him lessons in grit, humility, and service.

These are traits that shaped how he leads today.

3/ Careers aren’t linear

He went on to earn a Master’s from Stanford, worked as a chip designer at AMD and LSI Logic, while raising 2 children.

Me in my 20s:

- I want to buy a home
- I want to make 6 figures

Me in my 30s:

- I prioritize peace and presence

After hitting my “big goals” by 27, I still felt... empty.

I look back and realize:

It’s part of their new AI experiment called Learn Your Way,

and it’s one of the most intuitive tools I’ve seen for modern learners.

A few standouts:

I stood up to a bully on LinkedIn last week.

Everyone saw it – and said nothing.

That silence hit harder than the comment, because I've seen that silence before.

I grew up being bullied – not the casual teasing kind, but the kind that slowly strips you of yourself. 

The whispers, the laughter that follows you down the hallway, the quiet isolation that makes every day feel heavier than the one before.

I was the boy whose thoughts drifted out the window while the teacher wrote the homework on the board. 

The kid who missed half of class because my mind was somewhere else, who wanted to raise his hand but froze every time, terrified of looking stupid.

It didn't just hurt my feelings. 

It wrecked my confidence, my focus, and my grades.

The worst part wasn't the bullies, it was the people who looked away. Teachers, classmates, and adults who found it easier to ignore than to intervene.

That kind of silence teaches you something brutal – that cruelty gets a pass when it's loud enough.

So when I see that same pattern play out on LinkedIn, I can't stay quiet.

A grown man tried to humiliate me in public, and everyone else just kept scrolling.

I've heard the advice: 
"Don't engage. Ignore them. Be the bigger person." 

But I lived through what happens when you don't speak up. 

Silence doesn't make bullies go away.
It just makes them stronger.

This isn't about winning arguments. I refuse to shrink.

I'm not that scared little boy anymore. 

The kid who decided to walk the long way home just to avoid the backseat bullies on the school bus.

I don't owe anyone silence.

LinkedIn isn't high school. 

It's where people's reputations live – where employers, clients, and colleagues see who they really are when they think no one's watching.

Bullying doesn't disappear when we grow up. It just wears bigger clothes and company logos.

If speaking up makes someone uncomfortable, good. 

Maybe it'll make them think twice about choosing cruelty over kindness.

- Hope that going wide works for you this time

New job search strategy in 2025:

- Find relatable content aligned with your future niche 
- Choose a mix of company and peer-written content
- Stay active every day and engage with their posts
- Leave a valuable opinion in their comment thread
- "Follow" author to see future content they create
- Click the "double bell" to get every new posting
- Be sure to engage with your targets frequently
- Send out 2-3 connection requests every day
- Follow up with thank-you notes in the DMs
- Look to those 3 years ahead for insight
- Apply to jobs using a tailored resume
- Ping managers & recruiters directly
- Ask for informational interviews
- Enquire about internal intros
- Respond to all messages
- Put it all on autopilot

The system isn't broken.

It only notices who shows up.

My daughter asked what I'm wearing for Halloween.

She wants to be a K-pop demon hunter.

Oddly specific for a 5-year-old.

A few nights ago, my wife showed me a trailer for K-Pop Demon Hunters.

There's a character named Rumi who sings a song called Golden.

She asked, "Do you know it?"

I shook my head.
"Sorry, love—what?"

Then she played it.

Rumi's singing about feeling like a ghost in her 
own life, and I'm sitting there thinking,
"Heh, sounds pretty familiar."

We laughed.

But the lyrics kept landing.

Because that's how I felt for most of my life:

Quiet outside. Storm inside. Trying to look calm while my brain runs laps in the background

Fast-forward to me prompting Ideogram for fun.

It spits out a photo of me on Rumi's body, purple braid, wild anime swagger, the whole ensemble.

Apparently, AI agrees with my daughter.
I'd make a bloody great demon hunter.

So this Halloween, I'm loosening up.

A 53-year-old guy with an ADHD brain
who accidentally turned a Netflix anime
into some introspective therapy session.

If nothing else, it gave me a good chuckle.

And I hope it reminds you to do the same,
to find a bit of humor in your own chaos,
and not to take life so damn seriously.

It’s not rejection that hurts ADHD brains the most.

☑ 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆. 
Walk, stretch, reset the chemicals.

☑ 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺. 
Open the tracker, send the next message, move one thing forward.

That’s it.

It doesn’t erase the sting.
It just keeps it from spreading.

Because resilience isn’t about staying calm.
It’s about restarting faster.

In 2015, my calendar looked productive, but it was a graveyard of guilt and broken coping mechanisms.

I’d been a recruiter since 2004.

14 years deep in a game that worshipped motion—calls, placements, monthly targets.

“One more sendout.” 
“One more close.”

And yeah, I made it work.
Partner lunches. Record months. All that.

But behind the wins was a brain running on urgency and shame, barely holding it together.

In 2018, it snapped.

From the outside, everything looked fine—meetings, pipeline calls, even 'recovery time' blocked like a pro.

But it was a lie.

All that structure?
Just panic posing as productivity.

I wasn’t managing time.
I was white-knuckling chaos and calling it work ethic.

And the worst part?
It worked… up until it didn’t.

What finally changed:

- I quit fighting my own neurology.
- I quit blaming myself for burnout I'd created.
- I quit chasing motivation and built systems that last.

Now?

- I don’t rely on adrenaline to start.
- I don’t punish myself for slowing down.
- And I don’t confuse chaos with momentum.

Anytime I feel that old twitch to push through, I ask:
Is this solving anything—or just 𝘯𝘶𝘮𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘯?

Because I didn’t burn out from working too hard.

But from a system that ran only on panic.
