Here's what team coaching actually does: it creates a container.
Not answers. Not solutions. A space where breakthrough becomes possible.
You're not there to solve their problems. You're there to hold what needs to emerge.


That container you create? It's where:
-Conflict turns into clarity
-Silence becomes safety to speak up
-Stuck patterns finally get named and shifted
-Teams stop performing for each other and start performing with each other.

This is what you learn as a team coach. How to build that psychological architecture. How to read the room's unspoken dynamics. How to hold tension without rushing to resolve it. How to make the invisible visible.
It's less about what you do and more about what you enable.

When you master this, you're architecting the conditions for collective intelligence to emerge.

What does "holding space" mean to you in your practice?

I noticed lately that we often treat anxiety solely as a problem to solve. We label, pathologize, and treat every flutter of discomfort as a defect.

And yes, I am sure that anxiety disorders are serious. Seek help if anxiety interferes with your life. Yet we often fail to distinguish between anxiety as a disorder and anxiety as a necessary emotion.

Anxiety provides information. 

It signals that a situation is unfamiliar, risky, or important. 
It marks the edge of your abilities and the precise location of growth. 

Befriend your anxious feelings rather than weaponizing them. Neither dismiss nor minimize them. Just simply abandon the fear of being afraid.

To befriend anxiety you might experiment with
• Observing the feeling without attempting to eliminate it.
• Asking what the feeling teaches rather than how to stop it.
• Recognizing that discomfort often accompanies worthwhile action.

We need to learn to work with anxiety rather than eliminate it. We need to study our nervous systems to distinguish danger from novelty and to remain present with discomfort until we learn its lesson.
The goal is a life in which anxiety does not prevent living.
