Working for VMware has been a great learning experience and an amazing journey.
Some of the best support engineers I have met, I have met them here at VMware.
Working for The Leader in the Virtualization business is a real challenge, but it is very rewarding as well.
The customers expect nothing but the best support, so you have to deliver and be committed to them.
In VMware, you never stop learning and my opinion, this is what makes it a great place to work.
My job consists mainly  of working cases for storage related problems, commonly, I will deal with performance degradations, connectivity problems on FC, FCoE, iSCSI, NFS and troubleshooting of problems in the VMFS file-system as well as troubleshooting of Virtual Machines.
I also support VMware's Disaster Recovery Solution: Site Recovery Manager and vSphere Replication.

I very much enjoyed my time working in Convergys.
I learned so many things and I put in practice many others that I had learned on my previous jobs.
My job consisted  in providing Enterprise level Technical Support to some of the biggest companies around the globe, which was quite a challenge and a great learning experience.
While working in this role I had to handle many different cases ranging from problems related to NAS protocols like SMB/CIFS, NFS configurations and a little bit of SAN, mainly iSCSI configurations.
Most of the problems I would worked on were related to permissions in Active Directory and Unix, Linux.
Also, I had to work and resolve problems related to Data ONTAP( 7-Mode and Cluster-Mode), its configuration, networking issues, and more.

Hewlett-Packard

This was my first support role, it helped decided what was the path I wanted to follow and what I wanted specialize on.
Working in the Helpdesk of one of the largest tech companies in the world was definitely a challenge.

During this time, I had to provide support for standard software application packages and the environments and platforms on which the Hewlett-Packard employees business operated(desktops, laptops, remote access, messaging, etc.). 
Most of the support tickets consisted of the following:
- Troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems..
-  Network and Remote Connectivity for end users.
- Troubleshoot Hardware for laptops and desktops.
- Password resets in Active Directory.

IT Operations/Support

As a Customer Service Representative I worked mainly helping internal customers, Customer Support Engineers, Field Engineers, Account Manager, etc.
I loved this job and the team I worked with.
During this time I realized that I wanted to work a Support Engineer, I talked to some of the best Engineers you could find in the industry. The Mission Critical Support team in HPE was at that moment, best of the best and they would encourage me to pursue a technical career.
Part of the role was to:
•Schedule service appointments for the Field Engineer.
•Order parts that were required for the repair of all type of servers.
•Confirm service appointments prior to FE arrivals.
•Follow up on inquiries. Work closely with logistics teams to control deliveries of scheduled shipments.
