In my role as a Product Portfolio Manager, my mission involves the strategic development, placement, and management of portfolio elements. Key tasks include aligning the portfolio with our corporate strategy and providing critical feedback into the strategic planning process. My role involves active management of portfolio elements from idea generation to market withdrawal, as well as content creation in cooperation with other key stakeholders such as product managers or topic owners.

Beyond product-focused tasks, I work closely with Marketing and Sales to equip them with the information needed to effectively market and sell our portfolio items. This includes supporting Sales in everything from trade fair visits to pre-sales activities. Regular interactions with other functions help me keep a pulse on market trends and opportunities, ensuring our offerings are always aligned with market demand.

In my role as a Customer Success Manager at Computacenter, focusing on Cisco Software in Cisco Enterprise Agreements, I've harnessed my deep industry knowledge to work directly with customers, assisting them in achieving their business objectives.

Central to my role is supporting clients to reduce their time to value and guiding them through the Customer Success Lifecycle. I engage with clients to understand their business goals, tailoring our software solutions to meet those objectives, and ensuring a seamless, rewarding experience.

As a trusted advisor, my mission is to create substantial value for our customers throughout the entire lifecycle. I build strong, meaningful relationships, understanding their unique needs and challenges, and providing thoughtful, effective solutions.

Operating under the motto "Improve the Experience, and everybody wins," my focus is on enhancing the customer experience. Whether it's through problem-solving, providing insights, or simply offering support, my aim is to make each interaction a positive one, enhancing the feeling of being supported, valued, and successful.

This role at Computacenter has allowed me to stay closely connected with our customers, understanding their perspectives, and playing a part in their journey towards achieving their business goals. As a Product Marketing Manager, I've capitalized on my extensive IIoT knowledge to enhance the promotion of our products. I was entrusted with the responsibility of designing and executing strategic measures to augment sales activities, necessitating the development of comprehensive training and information sessions for our team.

An integral part of my role involved conducting market information analysis, gathering key insights, and performing competitive analyses. This intelligence not only kept our team informed of market trends but also helped us position ourselves effectively in the ever-evolving IIoT landscape.

Leading local product launches like the European Mega Launch of the EDS G 4000 series, creating compelling marketing content, and refining Moxa's brand image for network products also fell within my purview. I aimed to establish Moxa as a premier choice for network products, developing and implementing targeted marketing strategies.

My role allowed me to give feedback on our product roadmap for industrial network monitoring, ensuring alignment with market needs. As a bridge between the Taiwan and Europe Headquarters and various functions, I coordinated and communicated seamlessly on product and market-related matters. I was deeply involved in developing and implementing the European go-to-market strategy, requiring careful planning, collaboration, and execution.

Maintaining a close connection with our customers, their insights and feedback have been invaluable in shaping our marketing strategies and refining our products. This role has been an excellent opportunity to amalgamate my technical knowledge, market understanding, and creative thinking, propelling our products to the forefront of the IIoT industry.

Product Marketing Manager

With a track record of success in developing new markets and growing expertise in the IoT and IIoT sectors, I took on the expanded role of Global Business Development Manager for IIoT at Paessler. This shift marked a broadening of my responsibilities and a strengthening of my commitment to drive our IIoT initiative onto the international stage.

As the first member of the Virtual New Markets team, I had the privilege of pioneering the IIoT initiative. I worked tirelessly to initiate and nurture technical and sales partnerships in the IIoT arena, thereby paving the way for the international roll-out of our IIoT business. This involved meticulous planning, strategic decision-making, and close collaboration with our sales team to ensure readiness for a global market expansion.

During this time, my role was not limited to the behind-the-scenes work of business development. I also stepped into the spotlight as a social seller and influential keynote speaker in the IIoT space. I found myself on stage at numerous events and in the hot seat in interviews, advocating for the potential of IIoT and the capabilities of Paessler monitoring solutions.

I continued to bring my broad technical and market knowledge to the fore, offering support to the company in various new business sectors such as Commercial-IoT and data centers. This allowed me to stay ahead of the technological curve, maintaining a holistic understanding of IoT's role in diverse industries, and strengthening my ability to strategize and innovate.

Stepping into this global role was a challenge I embraced with enthusiasm and dedication. It was an opportunity to apply my skills and knowledge on a broader scale, shape the direction of Paessler in the international market, and make a tangible impact in the rapidly evolving field of IIoT helping customers to get a holistic view on their IT and OT assets.

Global Business Development Manager IIoT

As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Paessler AG, I took on the challenge of pioneering the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) initiative. Tasked with a dual mission - to carve out a new business area and to prepare our sales team for an international roll-out, I successfully forged key technical and sales partnerships within the IIoT sphere.

Serving as an ambassador for Paessler, I participated in industry events, representing the company in relevant IoT/IIoT institutions, and driving the development of a robust IoT/IIoT ecosystem. I was at the forefront of strategizing and executing marketing and sales activities, including partner events, trade fairs, and conferences, aiming to enhance the Paessler brand's visibility.

Working in close collaboration with Sales and Marketing teams, I helped formulate sales strategies for our new markets and ensured the successful implementation of our marketing strategy across these territories. My public speaking engagements and participation in various events allowed me to emerge as a trusted voice in the IIoT space, resonating with our target audience.

My expertise extended to support other emerging business areas like Commercial-IoT and data centres, bringing to bear skills in areas such as Software as a Service (SaaS), Account Management, Project Management, Communication, and more. Reporting directly to the CEO, I leveraged my skills in goal setting, technical training, marketing strategy, and consulting, reasserting my belief in the transformative power of IT/OT convergence in the modern world.

Business Development Manager New Markets

Driven by a passion for technical solutions and customer engagement, my career found its calling at Paessler AG as a Senior System Engineer. Operating within the regional presales team, my focus encompasses the DACH region, where I champion our PRTG network monitoring software.

My role centres on creating technical solution concepts tailored to our customers and partners, always striving to help them maximize the benefits of our software. I take great joy in presenting our products, whether it be on-site or remotely, engaging in individual demos, webinars, workshops, and trainings. These interactions not only showcase the potential of PRTG but also allow me to connect directly with our customers, fueling their enthusiasm for our solution.

I actively participate in leading trade fairs and in-house events, supporting our partners' marketing activities. These opportunities are invaluable as they enable me to gather feedback directly from our user base and facilitate the sharing and exchange of expert knowledge, elevating everyone's PRTG user experience.

As a pivotal link between Sales, Customer Service, and Technical Support, my role provides an exciting variety of responsibilities. My mission extends to handling customer inquiries and resolving technical issues, be it through email, ticket systems, or phone calls, enhancing our customers' experience with PRTG.

I'm adept in both German and English, and I take pride in leveraging these languages to build strong relationships with our international clientele, reaffirming my commitment to delivering top-tier service in every interaction.

Senior Systems Engineer

I've held the role of Senior Presales Systems Engineer at Paessler AG, a leading network monitoring company renowned for its PRTG software. Focused on the DACH region and the Netherlands, my role has been multifaceted and dynamic, encompassing both technical and interpersonal aspects.

As a technical consultant, I've developed bespoke solution concepts to ensure our partners and customers can fully exploit the potential of PRTG. I’ve found great satisfaction in translating complex network management solutions into a language that our customers can understand and implement, thereby fostering confidence in their use of our product.

In addition to this, I've been responsible for presenting the product in various settings - whether it be on-site, remotely, or at leading industry exhibitions. I truly value these interactions, as it gives me the opportunity to spark enthusiasm for PRTG and cultivate fruitful relationships with our users. In doing so, I can gather vital feedback to share with our team, ensuring we continue to evolve in line with our users' needs.

In my role, I often act as a conduit between Sales, Customer Service, and Technical Support, making every day a new and exciting challenge. Responding to customer inquiries and resolving technical issues through various channels, from email to our ticketing system and phone calls, forms a significant part of my work. This provides me with another avenue to engage with our customers, understand their challenges, and provide timely solutions.

Operating in both German and English, I've been able to engage with a diverse range of clients, enriching my understanding of different business cultures and their specific needs.
