I joined the company as employee #23 and helped propel the company to an eventual sale to WPP at the end of 2014. 

I managed a team of 15 producers and account managers helping to creatively problem solve and support them with everything from complex website builds to intense and complicated campaign strategies. In addition to the skills needed to oversee every project and client in the agency, I led my team with empathy and encouragement in order to empower them to get out of their own way.

I worked with clients to meet their business goals and then pushed boundaries to over-deliver and exceed their expectations, increasing account profitability. I encouraged communication across internal teams to ensure they had room for innovation, autonomy, creativity and professional growth.

Night & Day Studios

Night & Day Studios is a digital agency with a focus on children's media products. Night & Day's app Peekaboo Barn, released in the Apple store in 2008, helped define the kid's mobile market.

In an operational role, I grew the company from four employees to 35 with an additional office in Manhattan, NY. Recruited and hired the entire team of designers, developers and producers as well as an extended network of animators, illustrators, sound engineers, music composers and VO talent. 

Supervised the production team including the Creative Director and Technical Director. Worked with the internal team to establish protocols and systems to increase efficiency, refine communication and boost profitability. Acted as oversight for client relations and was responsible for project estimates, negotiating client contracts and the final statements of work.

Clients included: Warner Brothers, Nickelodeon, NFL Enterprises, Sesame Workshop, The World of Eric Carle, HIT Entertainment, Wildbrain Entertainment, Penguin Young Readers, HarperCollins, Richard Scarry and yummico.

iD Tech Camps

iD Tech Camps is America's largest technology camp, hosting almost 100,000 kids per summer at 80 University campuses across the country. Students learn a variety of computer skills from programming and 3D game design to web development and digital film editing.

Responsible for creating and founding a new division of the company called the iD Film Academy. The academy was a two-week residential summer camp course where kids ages 13-18 studied documentary filmmaking. Each student completed a short documentary and entered their film into a youth film festival. Developed the entire scope of the program including: film production curriculum, initial budgets and projections, marketing plan, worked with the design team on web and print materials, managed location reservations, organized equipment purchases, negotiated contracts with the University, set-up guest speakers, hired and trained all staff.

Also led the planning and execution of four additional U.S. summer camp locations, including Stanford and UC Berkeley as well as one international location totaling over 2,000 campers and was acting supervisor to 4 camp directors.

Senior Regional Manager

Northwest Film Center

Designed strategies for advertising and marketing campaigns for both the Film Center exhibition programs and the School of Film.

Organized and promoted the annual Portland International Film Festival.

Created relationships with the local media; pitched stories, wrote press releases and organized press screenings.

Worked as on-site graphic designer creating the Film Center's quarterly journal designing all advertisements.
