What makes people do what they do and buy what they buy?

👆 I've been interested in finding the answer since I was filling bins as a kid at my parent's Bulk Barn franchise!

Much of who I am now can be traced back to those early days, including putting family first - there's a reason it's at the top of the list!

When not being a Dad and/or playing games (mostly the board game variety), I am part of the team at Caddle, where we engage Canada's largest, most diverse and active consumer panel to gather research, drive trial/purchase and syndicate reviews for Walmart.ca, Canadian Tire, Home Hardware and a growing list of retailers. 

In 2020 I had an idea while cooking that resulted in the launch of Wander in 2021. Our globally spiced (not spicy) peanut butters are not only delicious but also fulfilled my dream of being an entrepreneur like my parents as well as providing a better understanding of the food industry. Unfortunately we had to pause production in 2023 due to increasing costs and decreasing margins. Incredible experience though!

Executed several valuable programs to support the successful Cottonelle to Cashmere rebrand increasing sales 60% to $190M and driving 4-point market share increase to record high 27% within 4 years.  Successfully directed Purex brand revitalization leveraging attractive package redesign, extensive consumer communication, promotions, sampling and in-store demonstrations resulting in 5% sales growth to $85 million annually.  Analyzed marketing research insights and collaboratively introduced Purex product improvements.  Headed the development of consumer promotions, sampling and website enhancements; assisted with the execution of package redesigns, advertising and public relations to drive brand preference.  Recognized for delivery of business results with two gold CASSIES awards.

Led project team responsible for the creation of the first ever Flintstones Vitamins television advertising campaign in Canada which boosted sales 20% in 2001 and grew market share by over 4 points.  Planned, developed and executed largest Flintstones Vitamins promotion in brand’s history. The Good Food Game program was supported with impactful in-store displays, a public relations campaign and the launch of www.flintstonesvitamins.ca.  Demonstrated strong leadership skills throughout Bugs Bunny Vitamins restage project which resulted in 50% consumption growth and market share increase of 3.3 points.  Assisted in the development of annual business reviews, creation of comprehensive marketing plans and annual budgets as well as 3-year brand plans.
