Hi I'm Dr Lauren Ingram. I'm a marketer, speaker, tech educator and community builder. And I help brands to win in the next internet.

I've mixed working in marketing for big tech like Meta and Amazon with running side hustles / communities, so my career is non-linear but mainly boils down to one thing: I love demystifying the next big thing in tech, and helping it click for other people.

I present concepts in a hype-free way, bringing some much-needed realism in a very noisy space - and helping the pace of change feel less overwhelming.

The throughline in all of this: I'm on a mission to boost women's AI literacy through my community Next Big Thing so women don't get left behind - upskilling everyone via events, Next Big Thing podcast, AI training and GEO training.

In late 2025 I received an Honorary Doctorate from Arden University for my contributions to digital inclusion and leadership in emerging technologies.

You may well have seen photos and videos and writeups all over your feed already so I'll keep things short and sweet: 

It is so special bringing women together to learn about AI, in a non-judgmental environment, where no question is a silly question.

Women have a lot of (valid) concerns about AI, and some are opting out of it entirely - it's so important that 50% of the population don't get left behind in the biggest technological shift of our time. 

So moments like IWD are more important than ever!

Tomorrow will be my 7th time running an International Women's Day event.

Have we nailed the equality thing yet? No

Is it ok to have a pink and feminine post about IWD, and give skincare in IWD goodie bags? Yes - not every woman sees feminism the same way, that's the point :)

Has Next Big Thing inspired hundreds of women and helped empower them to learn the skills that matter for the future? Absolutely!

(Also hadn't realised how many of the big tech companies we've collab'd with - who have we not worked with?!)

I love Anthropic, their tool Claude is obviously brilliant and is smashing it at the moment.

But part of what I’ve always really admired about Anthropic has been their focus on safe AI. That’s been something I can get behind, and it’s been a real point of differentiation.

If they are dropping that core reason for being, what does that mean for us as the users?

In case you missed it - Claude can now do fancypants diagrams.

Until now AI has mainly offered us text, with the occasional image / generated photo / video.

But I think being able to create flowcharts and diagrams will be so helpful for people who think visually (and really good for thinking through problems!)

I love the fact that Lenny Rachitsky, the brains behind Lenny's newsletter, has made all of his past episodes and newsletter available and basically told people to go mad on them.

I really admire the spirit of openness from Lenny, plus the crazy things that people have spun up with the data (using AI), but also how cool that we can do that these days!

That's one of the things I find magic about AI: we have SO much data out in the world already, and now we can TALK to it! 

It becomes interactive and we can do what we like with it.
I'll link out to where he originally dropped the data, and an updated website where you can access it all.

My product update is bigger than yours.

My AI is faster than yours.

Mine takes more tokens than yours.

Mine raised more billions.
