Liaised between Stryker and suppliers for R&D Projects, translating designs, feedback, and requirements to suppliers and facilitating discussions around supplier-proposed Design for Manufacturability, cost reduction, and quality improvements.

Staff Advanced Sourcing Engineer

Ensuring Compliance of Medical Devices under the design control of Stryker Instruments to the applicable, industry-recognized safety standards.

Created a simple excel macro which took several input parameters and, from them, manipulated the related six tables in the IEC 60601-1 Standard to output the correct creepage and clearance values. 

I posted this "tool" on LinkedIn, and, since then, I've been asked for copies by dozens of engineers in several countries (including members of the safety agencies themselves).

Managing a floor of 60+ assemblers by maintaining and improving fixtures, processes, designs and work instructions with a focus on line balance, process efficiency, and end-product quality. 8 steps to create LinkedIn banner

1. Follow Proper Dimensions
↳ You must have the right dimensions for your banner. The most common dimensions are 1584 x 396
 

2. Keep It Simple
↳ Don’t add too much images and elements in your banner. It will make it too messy. Just make it simple and clean


3. Make It Personal
↳ Add your own touch and style to your banner, so people will recognize your vision in the second when they see it


4. Make Some Tests
↳ You should check how the banner look in other devices, and I recommend both computers and mobiles


5. High-Quality Images
↳ High-Quality images will add so much for the overall atmosphere of your banner, and make it more professional. So, make sure your images are at the highest quality


6. Use Design Tools
↳ There are tons of cool design tools that will help you create your banner in no time. My favorite one is Canva


7. Organize your Text 
↳ Make sure that the text is easy to the eye, and that nothing covers it. Lots of people put it close to the right side of the banner


8. Call to Action (CTA)
↳ The most important tip. It’s like adding a big flag of why people should contact you. For example, my CTA is to make people go to my Featured Section and find my free guides.

I will also recommend to put it on the upper left corner.
