My journey to leadership wasn't straightforward. Early in my career, I learned the hard way that authority doesn't come from a title; it comes from genuinely understanding and connecting with your team. 

I've got an interesting background:
-launched four startups
-former CEO of Power Automedia
-former Chairman of the Specialty Equipment Manufacturing Association
-Earned two national championships in auto racing
-Earned two youth football championships as a head coach

I'm married to my amazing wife Melissa, and father to three kids–Bradley, Jordan and Taylor. 

When I'm not leading our team at Happy or spending time with my family, you'll find me:

Oversee and manage day-to-day operations (facilities, financial management, IT, human resources, OSHA compliance, project management, and supervise and train staff) of music publishing company and recording studios. Interface and collaborate with all levels of management to evaluate key needs, create better business procedures and policies, and restructure staff to ensure operations run efficiently and seamlessly.  Supervise, direct, develop and motivate administrative staff. Troubleshoot any technological issues and mitigate risk by implementing new systems. Analyze and manage all financials for Realsongs and The Diane Warren Foundation.

►	Cut 20% telecommunications costs through cost benefit analysis, reviewing alternatives and finding (and eliminating) redundancy, then negotiating better options.

►	Cut 45% cost of health benefits by initiating a cost benefit analysis and evaluation of different options, selecting a better, cost-effective insurance plan.

►	Project managed upgrade of company-wide computer servers.

►	Procurement and negotiation with vendors for all office equipment, supplies and services.
