I effectively worked for Telligent since 2010, as in 2013, Telligent acquired Zimbra, and then extracted themselves. Verint then acquired Telligent in August 2015.

I had overall responsibility for growing the Europe, Middle East and Africa pipeline and converting opportunities into new customers for Telligent. Working directly with customers to help validate their purchasing decision towards Telligent, I was also responsible for growing the partner channel through new partner acquisition and co-selling Telligent to our mutual customers.

Una delle mie "pocket guides" preferite è  la "YC's essential startup advice" di Y Combinator (linko tra i commenti)

Semplice, senza fronzoli, con principi senza tempo che sono facili da mantenere come stella polare in ogni momento durante il lancio e la crescita di una startup. 

Chiaramente con A Casa Loro non si applicano tutte, in quanto YC è molto verticale su B2B, ma quelle che abbiamo seguito maniacalmente in questi primi mesi:

- Launch now (
- Find the 90 / 10 solution
- Write code - talk to users
- Be nice! Or at least don’t be a jerk
- Ignore your competitors, you will more likely die of suicide than murder

E poi ce n'è una che dice qualcosa tipo "trova 10-100 utenti che adorano visceralmente ciò che stai costruendo".

Credo che a 10 dichiarazioni d'amore già ci siamo, meglio iniziare a contarle 😊

Inizio anno di A Casa Loro, a 8 mesi dal primo "soft launch": le cose iniziano a girare bene!

- Media di oltre 1 booking al giorno a gennaio (come novembre + dicembre messi insieme). Circa 2,5x mese su mese aggiungendo solo il 20% al budget adv.
- Decine di miglioramenti lato front-end e back-end lanciati, che hanno sensibilmente aumentato le conversioni senza far esplodere il lato operativo, oltre a rendere il sito oggettivamente strafigo (ho giusto un po' di bias 🥲).
- Abbiamo iniziato a tracciare seriamente il feedback dei viaggiatori (dovevamo iniziare prima).
- Abbiamo lanciato un programma content creator che ci ha portato in un mese oltre 20 creator bravi in pipeline, con 5 collab già avviate (anche qui, dovevamo iniziare prima).
- Google inizia a farci rankare per diverse keyword grazie agli effort lato SEO (anche qui, dovevamo iniziare MOLTO prima).

Un po' di considerazioni personali:

- Grazie ad AI e tecnologia, si può mettere un turbo mai visto prima letteralmente a ogni ambito di un'attività tradizionale come la nostra. Mai nella storia è stato così figo costruire.
- L'esecuzione fa il 90% del risultato in fase early, il resto sono scuse.
- Si sbaglia tutti i giorni, ma si tende anche a ingigantire il potenziale "worst case" conseguente agli sbagli fatti. Ship fast, fail fast, repeat.
- L'effetto composto è reale, ma costruirlo spesso è un atto di fede fatto mezzo alla cieca. Abituiamoci che è meglio!
- Il B2C ha tante rogne, ma vedi l'impatto positivo che hai sulle persone velocemente. E questo è tanta roba.

PS Siamo ancora formichine, ma l'ambizione è grande e lo sforzo sta pagando. Mi piace condividere ma mi sembra di non avere mai tempo per farlo per bene. Se hai domande o curiosità, fammi sapere e ne parliamo ;)
