And so my copywriting career was born.

A strong contender for the most random job I've done: A summer season cruising through France's Champagne & Paris regions in a barge hotel.

I didn't see much because I spent every waking minute in the 2m² galley, trying to whip up breakfast, lunch and dinner, using fresh regional produce for 10 people. 

Not so random I hear you say? 

Well, I had to do that with only a mini under-counter fridge, a 2-ring stove, while shopping once a week.

Once a spider the size of a dinner plate tried to join me, so I got to pop up top side for 10 minutes and scream a bit before going back below for the next 3 months.

I'd love to link this back to my current copywriting business but the only things I wrote for 5 months were shopping lists of non perishable items.

A live-in position working with my husband in the popular town of St Anton, we ensured the 14 guests in our 7 bedroom luxury chalet 'Einkehr' had their holiday expectations exceeded. I was responsible for cooking breakfast, afternoon tea & a 4 course evening meal 6 days a week, maintaining the chalet interior, managing our budget for food and chalet supplies, as well as interacting daily with the guests.

A fixed short term contract to assist the data work stream team on an international project, working closely with a team of five, primarily using Excel. I had no prior knowledge of this field of work, and I found that a good positive attitude and a willingness to tackle everything that came my way resulted in my contract being extended from 4 weeks to 5 months.

A live-in position working with my husband in Meribel, we ensured the guests in our luxury 7 bedroom 'Chalet Astemy' had their holiday expectations exceeded. I was responsible for cooking breakfast, afternoon tea & a 4 course evening meal 6 days a week, maintaining the chalet interior, and managing our budget for food and chalet supplies.

Responsible for managing and maintaining the existing portfolio of primarily CIPD courses and initiating new product development projects.  This involved researching the market, developing the product, commissioning the authorship team, liasing with other departments, and project managing the operational process from concept to completion.
