• Stepped in to lead the preparation of all 2020 tax returns after the unexpected departure of the former tax manager 1 month prior to the start of tax season. This included managing & training our intern (who had zero previous tax experience), creating the tax preparation process outline for the year, and preparing/filing all 100+ tax returns our firm is responsible for using CCH Axcess Tax Software (individual resident & nonresident, partnership, trust, estate, & gift).
• Build Tax and Financial planning models using BNA (Bloomberg Tax) software.
• Work closely with outside consultants to complete any financial, estate, or tax projects as necessary.
• Created a website using Wordpress from the ground-up that increased website traffic from less than 10 views per week to over 2,000 using advanced Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies to rank higher on search engine (i.e. Google) queries.
