Is LinkedIn biased against Indians?

Or are we just playing the wrong game?

This question came to me in the DMs.

I’ve asked myself the same thing before.

When I was starting out, there was a phase where I genuinely thought:
Maybe this isn’t a place Indians can dominate.

Scroll your feed and you’ll mostly see global creators. 

Mostly Western voices.

Mostly the same accents, the same confidence, the same certainty.

And for a moment, it makes you doubt yourself.

But then I look closer.

I look at my mentor... who’s built a nine-figure business.

I look at Indian founders quietly running 8, 9, even 10-figure companies... on LinkedIn and far beyond it.

They exist.

They’re winning.

They’re just not noisy about it.

So the problem isn’t geography.

It’s not your accent, skin color or “Indians don’t get taken seriously.”

The real gap is conditioning.

We’re raised to be excellent mathematicians. 

To be precise. To be JUST safe.

To not say something unless we’re 100% sure.

That makes us incredible engineers, operators, analysts.

But LinkedIn doesn’t reward that.

It rewards opinion, clarity, and repetition.

Global creators aren’t always deeper.

They’re just more willing to say, “This is how I see the world.”

Meanwhile, many Indian professionals and founders wait.

Years pass in that waiting.

And here’s something my mentor once told me that stuck:

Yesterday, I spent around half an hour talking to someone in my DMs.

He’s a student. Still in college. From India.

I want to share something personal with you.

When I decided to record The Operator System™, I set a risky deadline for myself... finish everything in 15 days.

Not days actually... nights to be exact.

That meant recording 72+ videos, building Loom walkthroughs, Miro boards, frameworks, and preparing the launch at the same time.

I’m a Scorpio by birth.

And I take veryyy proud ownership of that 😄

Now, I don’t worship astrology, birth charts, stars, etc.

I don’t blindly believe in it either.

I don't know about other Scorpios, but I know for sure... heck I will do that.

I’ve seen this play out in my own life over and over again.

My papa in 9th grade said, "I don't know why you can't score in English?! If this remains the case, you won't be able to stand well in society." 

Next thing you know, I scored 99% in my alma mater and taught English to students in Singapore for 2 years.

Without any pure malicious challenges.. I procrastinate. I doom-scroll. I delay.

But the moment there’s a challenge, a risky deadline, or someone saying “you probably can’t pull this off”…

I become a different person.

And not a passive program.

It’s a 30-day challenge on purpose.

My business looks like my scars for a reason.

I got a WhatsApp message last night from my client who joined my program 2 days back.

It said (and I quote):
“It felt like you were talking to me. I am your ICP. The cover photos, the gurus, the five-step frameworks, the mental exhaustion of being told you’re doing it wrong... all of it hit.”

That wasn’t marketing copy.

That was someone describing exactly where I once was.

And it made me realize something very clearly:

What they also pointed out is something I’m very intentional about:

The content doesn’t just teach. It anticipates.

It answers the next question before you even ask it. 

It pushes you into action instead of letting you sit in consumption mode.

That’s the entire philosophy behind how OS is built.

You don’t “learn everything.” You fix one thing at a time, in the right order.
Offer → Signal → Systems → Scale.

When that order is respected, things feel calmer. Clearer. Predictable.

And when someone says, “Grateful I made this investment,”... that tells me we did our job.

I want to tell you a small story today.

Just one quiet moment that changed how I think about business.

Last year, I remember sitting in front of my laptop rewriting the same offer.

Again. And again. And again.

18 times, to be exact.

New headline. New angle. New “this will finally work” version.

Every rewrite felt better than the last. And yet... nothing happened.

At some point, I stopped editing and asked myself a question I’d never asked before:

“Who is this actually written for?”

And the answer was uncomfortable.

I wasn’t writing to a person. I was writing to everyone.

Founders. Creators. Service providers. Anyone who might listen.

Which meant no one felt spoken to.

So I stripped it all back and rewrote the offer for 1 very specific person I could clearly picture... 

1 bleeding pain, 1 context, 1 situation, 1 solution, 1 offer.

That version wasn’t clever. It wasn’t fancy. But it was clear.

And that version got me my first real 4-figure USD client.

That’s when I learned something I still see founders miss every day:

Effort doesn’t move businesses. Clarity does.

Most people aren’t stuck because they aren’t working hard. 

They’re stuck because they’re building on fog.

If you’ve been rewriting, tweaking, adjusting...

I’ve been selling for the last three years. 

Courses, YouTube, sell-by-chat, DMs, calls, funnels, “sales bro” tactics - I’ve studied all of it.

And the biggest truth I’ve learned is this:

People don’t buy when you show them an offer. 

They buy when they’ve seen you enough times to trust you.

So yes, you might send an offer doc today and someone might say yes in just 10 minutes.

And you might look at me and say, “Hey Vidhya, you’re wrong. I closed them in 24 hours. Boom. Hypocrite.”

But what you don’t see is everything that happened before.

They might have:
- read your posts silently for 6 months
- opened your emails for weeks without replying
- watched a YouTube video of yours months ago
- heard your name from someone else’s post
- seen your comments over and over

The web is invisible, but it’s real.

We call this Time on Content.

Time on Content is when someone consumes your work without signaling anything back. 

They’re not disengaged. 

They’re deciding.

This week, someone told me they’d been following my LinkedIn content and emails for six months. 

When they finally saw the Operator Floor™ offer, they joined instantly.

Show up consistently. Say the same clear thing again and again. Let familiarity do the heavy lifting for you FOR A LONG TERM HORIZON.

Remember, THIS TAKES TIME.

Because if you appear in someone’s feed 16 times, and a 1M fanbase creator appears once…

You already have the advantage.

Someone shared this inside my community after finishing the Pinky Promise module.

They said they had never felt this 'sense of belonging' before.

That every word felt relatable.

That nothing felt sugarcoated or fake.

That for the first time, it didn’t feel like they were being “fixed”... just understood.

What stood out to me wasn’t the praise.

It was this line:

That’s exactly what I refuse to build.
