1. Screen & select the distributors for seven (7) districts in the country 
2. Define regional objectives to fit into the corporate jigsaw 
3. Define distributor subsidy strategy 
4. Assist in setting up the back-end helpline system for distributors 
5. Select & hire staff on distributor payroll for sales & non sales roles 
6. Conduct classroom and field training programmes for staff 
7. Design the national training module for sales & other staff 
8. Undertake extensive travelling to visit & rectify remote operations 
9. Define future growth plans 
10. Development of 'hub-and-spoke' model to operate in remote areas 

On top of above, the indispensable responsibility of delivering the numbers in terms of new customer additions to the national subscriber base, maintaining channel partner profitability through sheer cost optimization etc. were duly served.

As a front-line sales person, I was to acquire new business accounts in SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) and to foster & manage the already acquired accounts on a sustainable basis. 

Primary duties included the following; 

1. Prospect & acquire new business accounts

3. Cross-selling by including peripheral products in the contract 
4. Up-selling by upgrading the customer solution 
5. Renew ties for expiring contracts to keep the revenue momentum secured
