I’m Jackson, an entrepreneur, leadership developer, wellness advocate, coach, mentor, father-of-three and consummate learner. After spending the last 20+ years of my career in the adhesives industry, leading the business and strategic rollout of distribution channels in Asia Pacific markets both established and new, I found myself yearning to be less of a human “doing”, and more of a human “being”.  

While I love being a businessman and entrepreneur, my approach to work has definitely become more sustainable over time, as I aligned my leadership style and career goals with my passion for wellness. I believe that we should all invest in our personal well-being, both physical and mental, because these make up the foundations of a good life and rewarding career!  

Meditation, mindfulness and mindset elevation are the tools that I use to strengthen my mental wellness, and adopting a giving mindset fuels my sustained contentment. I encourage all those who have the capacity to give to do so, because giving is the key to unlocking happiness, lasting contentment, and an incredibly fulfilling way to live and work.  

With these values as my guide, I live life everyday with increasing ease, flow and comfort.

Today, I help my clients transform through the tools of Leadership Training, Thinking Partnership, Coaching, Consulting, Mentoring and Rejuvenation Experiences.

Bank of Singapore is a Singapore-based private banking arm of OCBC Bank. OCBC Bank is the longest established Singapore bank and is the second largest financial services group in Southeast Asia by assets. 

I joined OCBC Private Bank as an Investment Counselor providing portfolio and investment advisory services for the HNW, European and South-East Asian segments. Concurrently was responsible for acting as product lead for investment funds, ETFs and private equity within the advisory team, providing regular analysis, commentaries and recommendations to Relationship Managers. 

In 2011, I moved on to being a Relationship Manager in Bank of Singapore, and have since expanded my function at the bank as Team Lead in 2016. My core responsibilities are to build and nurture the growth of a highly successful team and ensure we provide the best client service and wealth management solutions.

Hi, I’m Kent, I am what I like to call, ‘the non-traditional banker with eclectic interests' Having started my career in the technical and sales functions of the engineering field, I was faced with an early mid-life crisis, deciding where I wanted to spend the rest of my career. 

After a series of right (or wrong) turns, I decided to get into wealth management. I went back to study a Masters of Applied Finance, then Wealth Management. It was the most fortunate of circumstances and humbling experience to enter private banking as an intern. Having had industry experience prior to getting into private banking I was able to apply real-world perspectives to the finance business at large, enabling me to quickly fast track my career. In a short period of time I was able to work my way up from mid-career entry Product Manager and Investment Counselor through to Relationship Manager.

As a Relationship Manager, I have had year-on-year success in achieving significant growth in AUM and revenue from HNW clients across Asia. 

Currently I am a Team Lead for the Singapore-Malaysia market whereby I am responsible for expanding and developing the growth of my team and market. 

My journey thus far has thrown me repeatedly out of my comfort zone, pushing me from challenge-to-challenge and fueling my hunger for knowledge and personal growth. 

I aspire to do things differently. To nurture and coach a high performing team that is capable of tactical problem solving and strategic thinking to becoming successful in their own life and career.
