Manage Visitor Center (90,000 visitors annually), Visitor Information Services for national and international clientele and general chamber services. Serve as liaison between businesses and governmental agencies. Facilitate policymaking and implement policy established by 13-member volunteer Board of Directors. Drive business to members by matching them to consumer needs. Promote new and existing businesses through comprehensive media management programs. Establish and work with all-volunteer committees in such areas as business development, women managers, legislation, etc.

I spent most of my career as a newspaper executive in the second-largest media group in the U.S. In 2003, I discovered coaching, got certified and opened my own business -- all after only 5 months of coaching! A few years later, I took the job as CEO for the Key Largo (Fla.) Chamber of Commerce. 

It was a fabulous run for seven years, but in 2012 I made another transition to focus on my own business and my lifelong passion -- helping people get what they want out of life.  

In 2016, I published a book titled, "The DIY Coaching Manual for Women: How to Transform Your Life in 12 Months." My next book will be called, "Please! Learn From My Mistakes!" :-)

CAMVAP is a cross-Canada program for consumers to resolve disputes with a manufacturer relating to defects in the vehicle’s assembly or materials, or how the manufacturer is applying or administering its new vehicle warranty. Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration.

Member of the Executive Committee responsibilities included strategic planning and policy; alternate business models; statutory functions under freedom of information, protection of privacy and ombudsman legislation; customer fairness and complaint handing; internal audit; government and corporate relations, issues management, business process reengineering and youth road safety. Led a leadership initiative to identify and develop the next generation of executives. Numerous Acting CEO assignments including the last day on the job.

Newly established role to coordinate social planning and initiatives across all municipal and civic agencies to both improve service delivery of existing services affecting people and to ensure the people and community needs were met. The position was established in response to community issues with youth and either lack of or need for new community facilities. Child care services were lacking and by working with communities and agencies there was a 100% increase in spaces in less than a year.  Led the negotiations and transfer of the municipal social welfare service to the province. Also served as Acting Municipal Planner on an extended basis.

A seasoned facilitator, strategic advisor, and coach, Greg thrives helping organizations to develop their leaders and culture champions. Having worked with teams from the executive level to the frontlines, his unique mix of skill and expertise includes planning and delivery of internal workshops throughout Asia, strategic advisory consulting, and leading an HR development group who pioneered data collection for personal and organizational improvements.

Greg holds a BA and EMBA from Simon Fraser University and was a part-time management and organizational behaviour instructor for 13 years at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He is the principal author of “A Planning and Implementation Guide to Team Policing” and draws on his experience gained in past roles as director, corporate executive, CEO, startup co-founder, and municipal social planner.
