Director of Postgraduate Programs in Advertising

Responsible for teaching postgraduate advertising, branding, and seminar
courses. I teach specialist electives in Sponsorship Communication and Advanced
Advertising. I also run the Masters Seminar which reconciles the latest
developments occurring in theory and practice. Have adopted responsibilities as
course coordinator for Advertising Internships. This involves being a key interface
between student placements and industry organizations. Eg., Grey Advertising,
JWT Advertising, Aegis Media (formerly Mitchell Communication Group), and
others.

Senior Lecturer in Advertising

Search and selection for faculty positions at all ranks, including Professor rank level.

Equivalent to University Senate in USA Universities, this is the top-level committee in the university. This committee decided on a range of issues regarding management and governance of the entire university and strategic planning and direction. This was not a small task with a university based across 3 continents, operating 10 campuses. Membership is around 20 people only.

University Level Academic Board Committee Member

I was responsible for setting research strategy and policy for the school which included decisions for around 240 academic staff and their research support and requests. This included ranking Ph.D. and master's students' applications and project funding.

School Research Committee Member

This committee is the critical interface between staff, school-university (policies), and students offering a formal forum to provide feedback. I was chair of this committee and provided input to Managers, full and part-time academics

Student Staff Consultative Committee Member

This was the critical leadership committee on all matters, including course improvements, program improvements, amongst other multi-level delivery planning.

Brad is currently, visiting professor of Sponsorship and Services at the Department of Services Management, Universitat Bayreuth. Research active professor. His research concentrations include: association transfer effects (brand personality, brand image, brand crisis, place branding, creativity industries' effectiveness and social media dynamics) and statistical methods extensions (qualitative and quantitative). He is often sought out by interested faculty and research students from around the world to assist in solving methods problems.
