🚀 The Journey Begins

In spring 2023 we were looking for ways to productize the "Remote Work Audit" that we've been successfully selling for many years at Remote-how. We decided to experiment with how AI can help. 

During two hackathons with Google and OpenAI, we created a simple prototype and brought it to users. They loved it, so we continued building which led to the creation of AI-Mentor, and eventually getting into an AI Accelerator Program in Saudi Arabia. 

Today AI-Mentor is a change management platform designed for consultants. It offers AI-enhanced interview toolkits, multi-stage AI-Assistants, and workplace analytics. These tools streamline consultancy operations and improve client engagement.

🧠 Projects I lead within AI-Mentor:

1. AI-Powered Remote Work Audit  

- Insight: Productized the "Remote Work Audit" using AI-Assistants.
- Impact: Evaluates remote work capabilities across 120 essential areas during an async conversation with employees, providing deep insights and actionable recommendations to enhance productivity.

2. 30-Day AI Productivity Experiment

- Objective: Conducted a 30-day experiment where 300 ambassadors were given access to an AI Productivity Partner.
- Result: The AI Productivity Partner helped participants stay as productive as possible by managing their calendars, planning tasks, scheduling deep work sessions, providing daily coaching, and offering productivity scores.

3. AI Hackathons

- Initiative: Hosted multiple hackathons (virtual & in-person), engaging over 400 participants.
- Outcome: Empowered participants to build custom, no-code AI tools, significantly enhancing productivity and addressing workflow challenges.

This post won't be about convincing that EVERYONE should be using Claude Code (don't let the "code" in the name mislead you: it's a game changer for all knowledge workers). Or maybe it will be? :D 

So... Claude Code is the single best tool on the market now to build and run AI Agents doing things for you like research, writing, brainstorming, coding and more.

My growing team of AI subagents (now 22) are connected to different software I use eg. Hubspot, Gmail, Calendar, Google Analytics, LinkedIn and more. So that they can execute tasks on my behalf.

But wait, it's actually something bigger. 

Imho it's the LARGEST PRACTICAL shift in knowledge work since the "ChatGPT moment". 

Claude Code enables you to build a personalized "Second Brain" with outstanding execution capabilities.  

It tackles the biggest issue with AI - #contextengineering.

Sounds complex? Not at all.

About Claude Code. The most underrated AI tool for non-technical people.

Here's the irony: only 5% of my work is code.

The name "Claude Code" is killing adoption among knowledge workers. And that's a crime because this is the biggest shift in how we work since ChatGPT dropped.

I've been using AI for 1,067 days straight.

5 months ago I canceled almost all my AI subscriptions.

Now I spend 99% of my time in Claude Code.

Not because I became a developer.

Because I built a second brain that actually executes.

Here's what changed:

The Problem: AI tools have zero context about your work. You explain the same thing 50 times. You copy-paste. You lose hours feeding context.

What I Built: 22 specialized AI agents living in GitHub folders. Each one knows exactly what I do, how I work, and what tools I use.

They're connected to:
- HubSpot (CRM)
- Gmail and Calendar
- LinkedIn
- Google Analytics
- PostgreSQL database
- 8 other systems

What This Means: My agents don't just chat. They execute. Run research. Draft emails. Analyze data. Write content. 

All with full context of my business.

The setup sounds complex. It's not.

It's just folders and markdown files in GitHub. Instructions and context. That's it.

Claude Code reads these files and becomes an expert in your work.

This isn't about AI replacing you.

It's about building a personalized execution layer that knows your business as well as you do.

The "ChatGPT moment" was about conversation.

This moment is about execution.

And if the word "Code" in the name stops you from trying it, you're leaving the biggest productivity unlock of 2025 on the table.

"Hey, did you know that GPT-5 can now do 65% of your consulting associate work. Shocked?!"

That's the finding from APEX Research's September 2025 benchmark. Not hypothetical tasks. The actual work filling the first 2-3 years of consulting careers. Tasks like analyzing industries, evaluating markets, building strategic and financial models, preparing presentations.

The benchmark was advised by Dominic Barton (former McKinsey Global Managing Director) and built with experts from McKinsey, BCG, Deloitte, Accenture, and EY.

Here's what makes 65% significant:

It's not 50% (interesting but not actionable).
It's not 80% (replacement territory).
It's the threshold where AI becomes a legitimate productivity multiplier for senior consultants while making the traditional analyst role economically inefficient.

BCG is already reporting they're meeting output targets with the same headcount. PwC has seen clients pull back contracts, replacing "consultants of yesterday" with AI. By 2027, firms that hired hundreds of analysts annually will need far fewer.

The consulting industry built itself on a pyramid. Junior associates did the grunt work, a few became partners. AI just removed the bottom two floors.

The pattern is clear. AI handles structured analytical tasks well. It struggles with ambiguity, client relationships, and strategic judgment that comes from lived experience.

The question isn't "Will AI replace consultants?"

The real questions are:

1. If you're a consulting firm, are you restructuring for the "obelisk model" (fewer layers, smaller teams, AI-augmented seniors), or are you still hiring like it's 2022?

2. If you're a junior consultant, are you building AI fluency and strategic thinking skills, or are you perfecting Excel models that won't exist in 18 months?

3. If you're a client, are you paying for analysis (which AI does at 65% proficiency for $0.02 per task), or are you paying for judgment, relationships, and implementation expertise?

The firms that figure this out first won't just survive. They'll operate at 50% higher efficiency (per BCG's data) while their competitors are still debating whether AI is "ready."

The 65% threshold isn't a future concern. It's September 2025. The restructuring has already started.

What are you doing differently?

I stopped using ChatGPT the way everyone else does.

And it changed everything.

Most people open ChatGPT. Type their question. Get an answer. Close the tab.

Next day, they do it again. From scratch.

The AI has zero memory. You re-explain everything. Every single time.

I realized something: This is not how our brains work.

Your brain builds on yesterday's thinking. It remembers context. It connects dots across weeks and months.

So I built my own system. A repository of files and folders. My entire life, organized in one place.

Work projects. Personal goals. Meeting notes. Ideas. Everything.

And I connected it to Claude Code.

Now the AI remembers. It knows my context. My preferences. My standards.

I don't re-explain. I don't start from zero.

I just continue where I left off.

This is not just about AI. It's about organizing your thinking.

The repository forces clarity. What matters? Where does it go? How does it connect?

AI makes it useful. But the unlock is the structure itself.

Think of it like this:

ChatGPT is renting a hotel room every night.

A Life OS is owning a house where everything has its place.

You know where things are. You build on what you created yesterday. Your system compounds.

I call it my second brain. Others call it a Life OS.

Whatever you call it, it changes how you work. And think. And live.

The best part? You don't need to be technical.

Just folders. Files. Clear organization.

That’s the REAL part of my work. But it just doesn’t need to happen in a suit or inside a glass office under fluorescent lights. ✋

You see... I don’t believe in trading creativity for conformity, or purpose for someone else’s version of success. ⛔️

Professionalism isn’t a building. It’s also not a dress code. It’s simply not a straight line. It’s the ability to create impact anywhere, in your own way. 🔥

So, when people ask what it is that I’m doing here... this is it. I’m proving that you can build a powerful, global, high-impact career and still live beautifully, freely and intentionally. And yes - if I suddenly feel like going to the opera after work, I do it. If I want to drink espresso with a view in between calls, I do it.
If I want to chase the sun when the rest of Europe starts getting cold - I go. Because that’s the point. 💃
 
Work shouldn’t shrink your life - it should expand it. Even if some people will look at you with disbelief. They’ll think it’s luck, or timing, or something they could never have. ...But it’s none of that. It’s choice, design and hard work. 💪

Call it luck or alignment... but once again, I found a place that defines what “working from somewhere beautiful” really means. ✨

I’ve been working from one of the most inspiring and colorful spots these past few weeks. I posted a picture on my Instagram account, and the owner - an Italian architect - saw it. 📷 She reached out, invited me for coffee, and asked if we maybe could collaborate. 😉

You know that feeling when you look at someone, exchange two sentences, and instantly know they’ve got that spark... that rare mix of passion, precision, and vision that turns ideas into reality? That’s her. She’s originally from Sicily but lived in Lisbon and Milan... and honestly, if someone lived in Milan, that’s all I need to know. 😌

I’ve been lucky enough to stay in one of the penthouses. It's the kind of space that makes you forget you’re technically here to work. 💻

Every detail here carries the woman's touch. The walls are painted with natural Etna pigments, the furniture comes from Sicilian flea markets, and each apartment has its own colors, story, and mood. 

She told me that social media isn’t her strength, but that my content inspired her, which honestly was a very kind compliment. So I told her I’d share what she’s built, because when someone creates something this special, it deserves to be seen. 🔥🔥🔥

October is almost over and to be honest… it’s been one of the most productive and also most fulfilling months this year. 🙏

I have no words to explain how the combination of exploring a completely new location with a crazy heavy workload has blended SO WELL. 

Here’s a little story from behind the scenes:👇

1️⃣ I supported several acquisitions, prepared restructuring paperwork, launched an online course, connected with businesses from over 15 countries, and guided multiple legal disputes. 💻

2️⃣ Every single day, I went to the nearby piazza for espresso - multiple times. I was sometimes exhausted and needed a break, but that pause in the sunshine with coffee and orange juice? Way better than any office break in a shared kitchen. Trust me. 🫡

3️⃣ I ate, drank, laughed like crazy, and went to local concerts with friends. 😃

4️⃣ I fulfilled my dream of a wine tasting at a Sicilian winery 🍇 - Donnafugata (fans will know their Dolce & Gabbana collab - absolutely epic!) - an unforgettable experience that still makes me smile.

5️⃣ The positive feedback from everyone I worked with warms my heart. 🥹 It proved what I’ve been saying all along - you can have a fulfilling, exciting, meaningful work life without dullness or grey walls. 

So please... NEVER tell me remote work doesn’t work. It does. You just might not know how to make it work. Because when you blend discipline with beauty, and impact with freedom - magic happens! ✨

I’ll be super honest with you. I can’t work in an office because I love wearing black dresses for lunch... for absolutely no reason at all. 😁

So, when I work remotely from a cool, inspiring place... I don’t just work, but I design my days. I make deliberate choices about how I show up, think and create. 🔥

That’s just what I do and who I am. My work is mainly strategy, law and operations - but it’s also art, rhythm and intention. No clash at all! 🙏

⚠️ And let me make something clear - traditional dress codes were created to signal order, not excellence. They’ve NEVER been a measure of skill, just of compliance.

They were born in the industrial age when uniformity meant control. Factories, banks and later corporate offices needed everyone to look the same to make sure they’d act the same. 👔👔👔

I remember a ridiculous story from one company where people worked in online customer service, sitting in cubicles all day and talking to clients they’d never meet. Women were still required to wear tights and grey suits EVERY SINGLE DAY. They never even left their desks. So... tell me WHY? 🙄

Do you know that today, the vast majority of employees say they feel judged by how they look rather than what they deliver? 😱 Of course, there’s some common sense like you don’t walk into a meeting in a bikini. But I’m not saying lose respect. I’m saying stop dressing for approval when what really matters is delivery!!!

Work is about impact, creation and what you bring to the table, not what you wear sitting at it. So yes, I wear my black dresses for no reason, when I feel like it.

If you think that’s foolish, irrelevant, or unimportant... then ask yourself why.

☝️Why does self-expression make people uncomfortable?
☝️Why does confidence without permission still feel like a threat?
☝️Why do we keep measuring professionalism by conformity instead of courage?

Not as a protest - but as a mirror.🪞 Because how we react to authenticity exposes how deeply we’ve been trained to hide it.

7️⃣ Top talent cares about freedom, not the corporate ladder. 🌍

8️⃣ The same companies replacing people with AI are forcing everyone back to the office... hypocrisy at scale. 🆘

P.S. Meanwhile, I’m taking a break from my daily tasks… and this is definitely not an office kitchen! 🫣 People often confuse remote work with being stuck at home - I don’t. I take breaks that inspire me and keep my focus alive. ✨

👉 Translation: We’re biased, we confuse energy with age, and we still think innovation has a birthdate.

How many of such sentences have you seen in job descriptions? Be honest! 👀

Let’s call it what it is - AGEISM, dressed up as “culture fit.” 🙄

You know... dynamic has NOTHING to do with being 25. It’s about mindset, not metabolism.

Seriously, I’ve met 60-year-olds who reinvent themselves every single year... and 25-year-olds already stuck in corporate autopilot. So when companies advertise “young teams,” they’re not just excluding talent, they’re excluding wisdom, balance, and resilience. 🙏

I believe that in truly future-ready workplaces, progress doesn’t come from age but it comes from diversity of thought, experience, and perspective. Period. 💥

It’s a business - and the moment you forget that, you hand over your power.

⛔️ Families don’t restructure you.
⛔️ They don’t “optimize headcount.”
⛔️ They don’t replace you with automation or a cheaper contract in another time zone.

Companies love to call themselves “families”... but no matter how beautiful it sounds, it’s just not true. 💔

Of course, there are also many responsible and great companies out there. So, you can have a great experience, feel valued, even loved, but it’s conditional. You need to perform, deliver, and align with the business goals. And that’s all good and healthy. That’s how companies work. 👌

But that is NOT a family. ⚡️

Loyalty is powerful, but ONLY when it’s mutual.

So connect deeply, yes... but keep your boundaries sharp. ⚔️

You know, when the “we’re all in this together” speeches fade, you’ll realize you were always running your own race. And that's rather painful.

What if future-ready companies dropped the “family” slogans and led with honesty and accountability... wouldn’t that just make sense for everyone? 🙏

I used to feel "worse" because I didn’t live in a big city. ☹️

Back then, it seemed like all the “real” opportunities were in London, New York, or somewhere with skyscrapers and glossy office lobbies. If you worked there, you were "someone." I felt like a nobody with no opportunities on the horizon.

I was trying to make ends meet with no safety net. 💰 But I also had that stubborn feeling that I had potential... even though I was once rejected by a local sushi restaurant because they said I wasn’t “good enough” to be a waitress. 🍣 And that one hurt, believe me. Not because I wanted to be a waitress forever but because at that moment, I just needed someone to give me a chance (and yes, money... to pay my bills). 🙏

Deep inside I felt that I also could be "someone"... so I burned all bridges as I had to try something radical before life passed me by. Yes... it was TOUGH when I woke up in another country with no savings and no job, trust me. 😱 So, long-story short - I accidentally found my first remote job 10 years ago, and it changed my life. Destiny? Yes, today I’m kind of convinced it exists even it's not that obvious. 😅

It's bittersweet that I only found a remote job after I moved… but OK. 😑 My point is that if you're talented, then having a career SHOULDN'T be SOOOO hard these days. NO, simply NO! ❌❌❌❌❌❌

Talent has no zip code!!!!

Within everything I do, I’ll never stop thinking about all the people who just need ONE chance... ONE open door - to show what they’re capable of. 💥

Because I was one of them.

Remote work gave me that chance when no one else locally would and that’s why I’ll keep fighting for it. Because everyone deserves a fair shot... not just those who can afford the “right” zip code or happen to be born in the "right" place. Talent has no borders and opportunity shouldn’t either.

I see companies proudly replacing people with AI instead of evolving them... confusing cost-cutting with innovation. 💰🤖

Everyone’s racing to automate, to optimize and to move faster. But no one seems to stop and ask: for what... and for whom? Are we actually building for people, or just for prettier performance dashboards?

In my eyes, what's happening in most cases isn't transformation but intellectual laziness. Because when everyone’s chasing the same efficiency metrics, the real differentiator becomes the one thing machines can’t copy - being HUMAN. Technology doesn’t just erase humanity, come on! 😬

🚩 You can automate workflows, not wisdom.
🚩 You can optimize output, not purpose.
🚩 You can’t replace "why" with "how fast".
