SaaS Email Marketing Strategist

Misys

Head of Manila e-Banking Development Team (4 yrs)
•	Established a new product support JEE dev team in Manila and worked in tandem with the British dev team. 
•	Successfully managed all development projects including bespoke development.  Provided support during User Acceptance Testing with bank clients in the Middle East and Europe.  We were able to hit our deadlines 100% of the time.

Head of Trade Innovation Manila Development Team (4 yrs)
•	Successfully presided over the technology refresh of the Trade Innovation product from a pure Enigma environment to a mixed JEE-Enigma platform. The Manila team worked in tandem with the UK team using Agile Methodology (Scrum) and continuous integration.  Manila team owned the Java infrastructure which integrates the various Enigma components (business functionalities) owned by the UK team. 
•	Managed all development projects for Trade Innovation. Major releases (TI+1.x, TI+2.x) of the product were successfully implemented in various top banks in Europe and Asia.  We were able to hit our deadlines 100% of the time.

Head of Trade Innovation Testing Team (1 yr)
•	Capably managed the testing of various releases of the Trade Innovation product. Worked with the Dev team and the Professional Services team to get the finished product out to client banks on time. We were able to hit our deadlines 100% of the time.
•	Under my watch, my team was able to increase the scope of automated testing of product releases by 30%. Automated testing improves software quality, speed and efficiency of testing, and reduces cost.

Project Management Office (PMO) (1 yr)
•	Produced dashboard and management reports for top management:  Manila Devt Dashboard Reporting, Resource Management, and Financial Cross-project Charging and ad-hoc reports.
•	Coordinated with UK and Bangalore on PMO initiatives. Organized project management workshops, coordinated software engineering process improvement effort in Manila for ISO and CMM compliance.

Senior Project Manager (Software Development)

Corporate Information Solutions Inc.

Head of Software Development & Maintenance, Payment Collection Service (PCS) a.k.a. Bayad Center, e-Solutions Group, CIS.  The company is part of the Lopez Group of Companies.   

Accomplishments: 

•	Managed the various software development projects of PCS including:

o	PCS Online - a major revamp of the Payment Processing System to transform it from a client-server platform into a web-based J2EE application.
o	Partner Service Fee and Merchant Billing – one of four projects audited in the company’s successful bid for CMMI Level 3 certification. As Project Manager for this project, I ushered the team to successfully contribute to this achievement.
o	PCS Payment Back-end System Revamp – revamp and migration from Informix platform to Oracle/AMTrix platform.  The back-end system was moved to a new Oracle platform and was functionally enhanced to better support the business and operational requirements of the Bayad Center. 

•	Managed the production maintenance and support  of the Bayad Center Payment Processing System.

o Participated in business requirements gathering for new merchants and payment partners including planning and scheduling of related development and integration testing with the PCS frontend and backend systems.
o Ensured the successful enrollment in the system of new merchants and new payment center partners.

Managing Consultant (rank of Senior Manager)

Ingenium Technology, Inc.

Head of the Life Insurance Business Unit (9 months)
  
•  Oversee all life insurance-related software development projects for clients which were in the country’s top 10 in the insurance industry

   o	Headed the company’s biggest project, the CIS Life Project which involved migration from a COBOL mainframe platform to Oracle Developer/2000 client/server platform, and customization and implementation of the Oracle-based CIS Life insurance software package. 
   o	Sat as Ingenium representative in the client’s project steering committee consisting of the client’s top management
   o	My development team worked on this project in tandem with the consultants from our Jamaican business partner, Advance Digital Systems.
   o	Provided technical pre-sales support to Sales Account Managers. This includes development project estimates and proposal review, setting up demo systems for the clients, and assisting the Account Manager in client presentations.

Head of Research & Development (1 year)
 
• Managed the offsite Construction Phase of the company’s various development projects in the financial services industry (pre-need and insurance)

• Initiated research on new technologies - web technology, application and database tuning, developer productivity tools. Established a library of Oracle PL/SQL reusable codes. This increased productivity by 15%.

• Introduced software engineering process improvement in the company which contributed to 10% company savings and increased customer satisfaction to 90%.

• Wrote the company’s software development standards to improve software quality.

• Established the Software Testing Team which brought down the level of errors by 30% and improved software quality.

• Prepared the Quality Management Plan for the whole company and rolled it out to the appropriate departments and projects.
