- From May 2021 I started posting content on Instagram actively for almost 1 month.

- I used to post carousel posts related to Content Marketing Strategy, Growth Hacks, Hashtags Strategy, Profile Optimization, etc.

But after 1 month I found I'm giving too much time almost 8hours+ to design a single post. Then finally I stopped posting content on Instagram.

Additionally, Instagram reels were dominating the feed at the time, which is why I suspected my carousel material was underperforming.

Though I haven't posted consistently on Instagram still I'm getting engagement and new followers every day after 6+ months.

This taught me a great lesson, 'Never Expect early results and don't quit too early.

In the pandemic in 2021, I had tried Affiliate Marketing as well.

I have consumed many contents related to that on YouTube or from Google then signed up for Amazon Affiliate Program.

I started posting affiliate content including Cameras, Tools, Digital Gears and others those help content creators build their Personal Brand on Social Media.
 
Commission on Digital Products are usually high that's why I started promoting digital tools that help early-stage startups and small brands in marketing campaigns, A/B testing, etc.

- seobieb.com was the first custom website I had created after 3 Blogspot sites.

- I published 10+ SEO-optimized articles on the site.

- Then tried to write Hindi content as I found more scope in National Language.

Then I found it's taking too much time and energy to research a topic, write about that, design content thumbnail as a Canva Designer, etc.

For these reasons, I stopped publishing on the site.

But later I had helped one of my friends to handle his WordPress site as a content Creator and Content Strategist.

"How do content creators on YouTube make money?" is the question that led me to create a YouTube channel.

- I used to publish web-development related content as I was studying BTech in Computer Science.

Then I noticed that my classmates were having difficulties applying to numerous programs/courses, and I began creating video content to assist them.

Whenever I encountered an issue, I created a video and uploaded it to my YouTube account. After that, I realized this isn't only my problem, there are many people who face this same problem.

One of my videos received over 5.2k views, which taught me that the only way to be successful on social media is to solve other people's problems.

Andrew Delaney once said, “It's important to be where your audience of potential customers is today, and where they might be tomorrow.”. As a Social Media Marketer, I live by this mantra.

I stepped into this Marketing and Growth field at the time of COVID-19 at the age of 19 while my friends were having ‘Netflix and Chill’.

A few years ago, I was sitting in a classroom like this - taking notes, overthinking my future, wondering where I would fit in the world of business.

Last week, I stood at the front of one.

The Department of Management Studies at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women (Autonomous) invited me to speak to the B.B.A. students about Marketing Campaigns using AI and VR.

What struck me wasn’t the technology.

It was the curiosity in the room.

When I was their age, AI felt distant. VR felt experimental. Branding felt like logos and taglines.

Now we’re talking about:

• Personalization at scale
• Immersive experiences
• Campaigns that feel human, not automated
• And why technology should amplify emotion, not replace it

I shared one simple idea with them:

Technology doesn’t build brands.
Resonance does.

AI can analyze patterns.
VR can create immersion.

But if there’s no story… no emotional clarity… no intention behind the campaign - it’s just noise with better graphics.

Walking through the corridors as an alumna felt surreal.

Not because of the title.
Not because of the stage.

But because I remember being a student who was unsure of her path.

Life has a quiet way of bringing you back to where you started - just with a little more perspective :)

There are some places that quietly shape the direction of your life. 

A few years ago, I walked into M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women (Autonomous) as a first-year student pursuing Marketing Management.

Getting into the college itself felt like a proud moment for me. 🥺

I remember walking into the campus for the first time feeling excited, curious, and hopeful about the journey ahead.

At that time, I had no idea how much those years would shape my thinking.

Marketing was not just a subject we studied in classrooms. It slowly became the foundation of how I understand business, people, communication, and ideas.

Many of the principles I apply in my work today trace back to those early learnings.

Last week, I had the privilege of returning to campus for the 𝗕𝗶-𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 and receiving the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗮 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱.

Standing on that stage felt like a full-circle moment.

Not just because of the recognition, but because it brought back memories of where the journey began.

What makes this even more special is the continued support from the institution even years after graduation.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr.Nisha Udayshankar ma’am, whose belief and kindness have always been deeply motivating for me. 🙏♥️

The alumni community, the encouragement from faculty, and the warmth with which the college stays connected with its students truly makes it feel like more than just a place of education.

It feels like a community that continues to cheer for you long after you leave the campus.

Grateful for the foundation, the lessons, and the people who have been part of this journey.

Some places don’t just educate you.

They quietly shape the direction of your life.

I remembered something recently.

There was a version of me who once prayed for the life I now consider “normal.”

She didn’t want fame.
She wanted stability.
Clarity.
Respect.
Work that meant something.

She used to sit with a notebook full of plans, unsure which one would work.

Afraid she wasn’t ready.

Back then, even small wins felt distant.

Getting the first client project.
Being taken seriously in a room.
Building something of her own.
Having the confidence to speak without shrinking.

She thought confidence would arrive after success. She didn’t know it would be built because of responsibility.

She thought clarity would come before action. She didn’t know clarity would only appear after making uncomfortable decisions.

She believed growth would feel exciting. She didn’t know it would often feel heavy.

What she really wanted was capability.

The ability to hold pressure without collapsing.
To think clearly when things were uncertain.
To build systems instead of chasing validation.
To choose long-term respect over short-term approval.

And now, when I look at where I stand, I realise something quietly powerful:

This used to be the goal.

The ownership.
The weight of decisions.
Even the overwhelm. 🥺

There was a time I would have been proud just to handle this much.

We are so quick to focus on the next level
that we forget we once dreamed of surviving this one.

If you feel stretched right now, pause. 

There is a younger version of you
who would look at your current problems
and call them proof of growth :)

Sometimes progress doesn’t need more ambition.

It needs acknowledgment.

Onwards -

Entrepreneurship has a way of refining you.

In the beginning, you think it is about ideas, execution, visibility, and momentum. Over time, you realise it is far more internal than external.

It is about standards.

As you grow, the excitement of “more” slowly turns into the discipline of “right.” Not every opportunity is aligned. Not every collaboration is strategic. Not every introduction needs to become a partnership.

Building a business teaches you discernment.

It becomes less about how many doors open and more about which ones deserve your energy.

There is a quiet strength in slowing down before committing projects. In asking better questions. In defining expectations clearly. In choosing long term integrity over short term momentum.

Entrepreneurship is not just about scaling revenue. It is about scaling judgment.

It asks you to stay open yet grounded. Visionary yet practical. Warm yet boundaried.

The real growth happens when you stop proving and start protecting. Protecting your time. Protecting your focus. Protecting the culture you are building. Protecting the standard you want your name associated with..

Because at the end of the day, a business is not just a vehicle for income. It is an extension of your values. 

And that is something worth building slowly.

I failed.

Not because I wasn’t capable.
Not because I didn’t work hard.
Not because I lacked skills.

but because I refused to be loud about what I could do.

In marketing, I thought humility meant staying quiet.

Let the work speak.

Let others take the spotlight.

But here’s what I learned the hard way:

If you don’t communicate your value, the market assumes you don’t have any.

For a long time, I watched people with half the depth position themselves twice as big.

And I kept thinking, “It’s okay. I know what I bring.” 

The truth?
The world doesn’t reward hidden excellence.
It rewards visible clarity.

Humility in marketing does not mean shrinking.
It means telling the truth about your value without ego, without exaggeration, without noise. 🙏
