- From May 2021 I started posting content on Instagram actively for almost 1 month.

- I used to post carousel posts related to Content Marketing Strategy, Growth Hacks, Hashtags Strategy, Profile Optimization, etc.

But after 1 month I found I'm giving too much time almost 8hours+ to design a single post. Then finally I stopped posting content on Instagram.

Additionally, Instagram reels were dominating the feed at the time, which is why I suspected my carousel material was underperforming.

Though I haven't posted consistently on Instagram still I'm getting engagement and new followers every day after 6+ months.

This taught me a great lesson, 'Never Expect early results and don't quit too early.

In the pandemic in 2021, I had tried Affiliate Marketing as well.

I have consumed many contents related to that on YouTube or from Google then signed up for Amazon Affiliate Program.

I started posting affiliate content including Cameras, Tools, Digital Gears and others those help content creators build their Personal Brand on Social Media.
 
Commission on Digital Products are usually high that's why I started promoting digital tools that help early-stage startups and small brands in marketing campaigns, A/B testing, etc.

- seobieb.com was the first custom website I had created after 3 Blogspot sites.

- I published 10+ SEO-optimized articles on the site.

- Then tried to write Hindi content as I found more scope in National Language.

Then I found it's taking too much time and energy to research a topic, write about that, design content thumbnail as a Canva Designer, etc.

For these reasons, I stopped publishing on the site.

But later I had helped one of my friends to handle his WordPress site as a content Creator and Content Strategist.

"How do content creators on YouTube make money?" is the question that led me to create a YouTube channel.

- I used to publish web-development related content as I was studying BTech in Computer Science.

Then I noticed that my classmates were having difficulties applying to numerous programs/courses, and I began creating video content to assist them.

Whenever I encountered an issue, I created a video and uploaded it to my YouTube account. After that, I realized this isn't only my problem, there are many people who face this same problem.

One of my videos received over 5.2k views, which taught me that the only way to be successful on social media is to solve other people's problems.

Andrew Delaney once said, “It's important to be where your audience of potential customers is today, and where they might be tomorrow.”. As a Social Media Marketer, I live by this mantra.

I stepped into this Marketing and Growth field at the time of COVID-19 at the age of 19 while my friends were having ‘Netflix and Chill’.

Before this, I was running 3 blogs on Blogspot to figure out every possible way through which I can find my true passion.

As I was spending most of my time on social media, I got too interested in Marketing on these platforms. In this way, my journey began.

We love to complicate things.
We build systems we'll never look at, set routines we’ll never keep, and burn out before results even show up.

But the truth?
What actually gets results is sticking to the basics, consistently.

✅ Post on 1–2 platforms that you know best. Repurpose for the other. Don't spread yourself thin across every channel.
✅ Do 5–10 intentional outreaches a day. It beats doing 50 in a rush and quitting out of overwhelm.
✅ Build habits in small steps. Instead of vowing “gym every day,” start with a walk or 15 minutes in the sun. Then build up.

Simplicity is what creates presence and momentum.
Here are 9 more ways to keep it simple:

1. Choose one core offer instead of 5 confusing packages
2. Batch-create content weekly or monthly instead of scrambling daily
3. Stick to one CRM or even a simple spreadsheet instead of trying 10 tools
4. Use one payment system instead of switching every month
5. Schedule calls 4 days/week instead of opening your calendar daily
6. Use your phone camera instead of waiting for a “perfect” shoot
7. Track only 2–3 key metrics instead of chasing every number
8. Post once a day, not 5 times and then vanishing for weeks
9. Pick one lead gen channel (LinkedIn or IG) and master it first

Success doesn't come from more.
It comes from doing the right simple things, repeatedly.

These last 45-ish days, I am dropping every rule I forced myself to follow.

For the first time in a long time…I finally had an active social life the past month.
The kind of life I always wanted, going out with friends, spending time with people I love, taking my mom out, capturing little moments, making memories that felt like life again.

And honestly? I needed this more than I realised.

Because the past 2 years have been pure chaos.
Not the cute “entrepreneur and life chaos” people glamorise online.
I mean the real kind... emotional storms, unexpected personal lows, setbacks stacking on setbacks.
Nothing prepares you for that. Nobody warns you.
One thing settled…another thing fell apart.

Yes, I had many consistent 6-fig months.
Yes, I worked with incredible, green-flag clients.
Yes, I had the wins every freelancer dreams of.
But if I am being honest?
That has not been the case for the last 2 years.

And I am not here to paint a rosy picture or slap a motivational bow on it.
I am here to be real about what building a business actually looks like.
This is the truth. This is the journey.
This is what happens when you are running a business and living a human life.

So here is my decision:

December will have zero inhibitions. Zero rules. Zero expectations.
I know everyone says:
“Pick one goal.”
“Stay consistent.”
“End the year strong.”

But I am doing the opposite.

I am going to post whatever I want.
Say what I want.
Sell what I want.
Share what feels true.
Experiment.
Create freely.
Break every “strategy norm.”

Because I am 29 now, not 22.
My energy is different. My priorities are different. My mind, body, and nervous system are different.
It is time my business reflects that.

December = Free. Unfiltered. Unrestricted.
January = Locked in and laser focused.

I already feel the shift.
And if you needed a sign, this is it:

You do not have to follow what everyone else is doing.
You do not need the perfect strategy to feel alive again.
Do what feels aligned right now.
Stability, structure, plans... all of that can still come.
But joy, freedom, and expression?
You build those first.
