We collect it like our life depends on it.
It makes us happy (or so we think).

We put a lot of thought into what we buy,
where we'll put it
how we'll us it
who will see it

We spend a lot of money on some of it.

And after 120 years, when we're gone, it stays behind.
Filled with dust, or hung in a closet somewhere.

We can't take it with us.
And no one wants it.

For the past 4 months my siblings and I have been slowly dismantling our parents' home.
Accumulated stuff from over 140 years.

Clothes, shoes, knickknacks, jewelry, tech, books, photos, letters, paperwork (SOOO MUCH paperwork), dishes, furniture....

The peak was earlier this week. We finally had someone come in and tow away all the furniture.

It was strange looking at the bits and pieces left behind that no one wanted.

My husband and I kept supporting each other and reminding ourselves that the stuff we have is just that - stuff.
It really has no value.

Sentiment has its place, but if our house is filled with stuff we're doing something wrong.

Our society has become so focused on tangible goods, that we often forget that the most important investment is in our family and our loved ones.

It's better to invest in people.
Invest in creating memories.
Invest in making others feel good.
Invest in DOING good.

Because that's what will truly remain after we're gone.

UPDATE: apparently it was a glitch. On recommendation of my good friend Michelle J Raymond, I cleared my cache and it helped.

Everyone wants to talk about the AI. Nobody wants to talk about the script.


That's backwards.

I just reviewed two companies using the same AI voice technology. Identical platform. Same voice. Similar target market.

One converts at 25%. The other at 4%.

The difference? The script.

The successful company spent 6 weeks developing theirs:
\- Interviewed top-performing reps
\- Surveyed clients about what resonated  
\- Tested 5 different opening approaches
\- Mapped common objections and responses
\- Built qualification frameworks
\- Created conversation branches for different scenarios

The struggling company used a template they found online. Modified it in an afternoon. Wondered why results were mediocre.

Here's what goes into an effective script:

Opening that immediately communicates value (not "Hi, my name is..."). 
Questions that qualify without interrogating. 
Objection handling that feels conversational, not defensive. 
Natural transitions between topics. 
Clear next steps that match your actual sales process.

And here's the secret: it changes constantly.

The companies seeing best results review calls weekly. They identify what's working. What's not. Where prospects lose interest. Where they engage.

They refine continuously.

If your script is generic, your results will be generic. If your positioning is weak, AI amplifies that weakness.

This is why setup takes 5-7 weeks. Most of that time isn't technical. It's strategic.

You're not installing software. You're building the operational foundation that makes automation effective.

Here's what I've learned from 15+ years in operations:

Automation multiplies what you already do. If your process is broken, automation makes you fail faster.

Before you automate your sales process, answer these:

❓Do you have a repeatable sales process that works when you execute it? (If your conversion rate is inconsistent, fix that first)

❓Can you clearly articulate what makes someone qualified vs. not qualified? 

❓Do you have capacity to handle 5-10x more qualified leads? (Generating leads you can't convert is worse than not generating them)

❓Is your CRM actually tracking your pipeline? (If you're using spreadsheets, you're not ready)

The companies seeing 240% ROI from automation have one thing in common: they built operational foundations first.

They documented processes. Created clear handoffs. Established metrics. Built systems.

Then they automated.

The technology is powerful. But it's not magic. It's a force multiplier for strategy you already have.

Get your operations right. Then automate what works.

Not the other way around.

Your team shouldn't need a man**l to check off tasks.

Simple actions should be simple to perform. But most systems optimize for data integrity over ease of use.

Checking "done" requires:
👉 Navigate to project view
👉 Find the right record
👉 Update multiple fields
👉 Return to task list

Meanwhile, your team reverts to personal tools because they're easier.

The update friction barrier kills adoption faster than missing features.

Design for the 80% use case. Make common actions effortless.

When checking off a task takes longer than doing the task, your system needs interface work.

Status tracking won't tell your team what to do tomorrow.


Your project dashboard shows exactly where everything stands. Progress percentages. Assignment details. Timeline updates.

Yet people still ask "What should I work on today?"

Here's why: Knowing where something IS doesn't tell you what to DO about it.

Status thinking: "Project 60% complete, awaiting client approval"
Stage thinking: "Send approval request. If approved by Friday, move to production. If not, schedule revision meeting"

One describes the past. The other prescribes the future.

Most workflows optimize for reporting ("Where are we?") instead of guidance ("What's next?").

This creates the interpretation gap. Your team sees the data but needs you to translate it into action.

Design workflows that embed decision logic:
👉 When [this happens], then [this action]
👉 If [condition met], assign to [person] by [deadline]  
👉 When [stage complete], automatically [next step]

Stop tracking what happened. Start guiding what happens next.

Your future self will thank you for integrating systems now.


Every day you delay, you're paying the man**l tax and hitting scaling ceilings harder.

The question isn't whether you can afford to integrate your systems. It's whether you can afford not to.

Start with your biggest pain point. Success there builds momentum and demonstrates value.

I quit social media last year. 

Let me explain...

I built my social media on my terms. Sharing the most unhinged content you will ever see. I streamed drunk from the Scottish highlands, given away 1000s of dollars of pizza, hosted live meme competitions and battled other influencers LIVE... 

It was a blast BUT..... I started trying too hard to optimize my "personal brand" and I lost my way. 

10 bans on this platform didn't help and I decided to disappear into the shadows and leave the social media game behind. I was tired of being the rebel that got punished for playing a different game.

So I spent 2025 focusing on biohacking and figuring out how to enjoy my life again after years of hustling and obsession with work... 

It was a great year but truth be told I missed the banter. So I started questioning my choice to disappear...

It was during this journey that I learned a ton about private AI, cybersecurity as well as alternative tools that felt cool to use again. I tapped into my driving force....

Being a rebel without a cause. 

I like building things my way, on my time and saying whatever the heck I want. That's my roots. 

That's the way of the rebel, it's playing a different game with different goalposts and embracing it 1000% without any shame. 

AI and big tech want to put us into a cage. 
But we can use them to build our own kingdoms. 
We CAN build our own freedom.

I got 99 problems and a LinkedIn ain’t one.

The 2026 LinkedIn algorithm favors written content.

But NOT AI slop... You must write SO human it hurts..... 

These writing staples used to work:

-Short sentences like this.
-Ridiculous post hooks.
-The rule of three.
-[this] vs [that] + [philosophical power statement'
-Open loops.
-Listicles...

But AI is good enough that you can feed it the above principles and it will do a decent job writing words and FEEL LIKE CHATGPT WROTE IT AND YOU WILL GET NO CLIENTS.........

Sorry folks but you got to write for yourself.

Writing in 2026 still requires you to learn techniques. 

But now it demands a secondary layer to feel human.... 

You need to add these to your skillset: 

-Chunky paragraphs. 
-Written technical knowledge of your industry.
-Humorous and cultural pieces. 
-The art of writing to specific pain points.
-Spelling mistakes n choppy sentences..
-The courage to say what others wont with some spice...

You don't need hot selfies.

But look ur words can't be mid any longer....

Step 1: Turn the ON Switch on in your brain...

(yes you still need your wits to create with AI)

Anywhoodles....... here's the real 4 step guide: 

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲.

Don’t say “make an infographic.” Say “make a professional infographic in a clean, magazine editorial style with a warm cream paper background and a sage green color palette.” Define the entire visual language from the start.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁.

Don’t let the AI guess the structure. Tell it exactly what you want. “Create a 4:5 aspect ratio image with a main title at the top, two cards in the middle, and a four-column feature section below.” You are the architect.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝘅𝘁.

Never let the AI write your copy. It’s an image generator, not a copywriter. Put every single word you want it to render in quotes. Titles. Body text. Labels. Everything.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰: 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀.

Be ruthlessly specific. Specify the fonts. List the exact color hex codes. Describe the icon style (“simple, hand-drawn doodle line art”). The more details you lock in, the fewer mistakes the AI can make.

Hockey players are the toughest of all sports.

Vibe coding used to be a grifters dream. 

Sell the hope of making a product easy and making money fast BUT that's not the reality. It takes time to build a product and a business. 

The good news is.... AI can now help make technical part easy.

Replit lets me build the tool I wish existed when I was cleaning up my own digital life.

I am tired of greedy SaaS tools. 

So I use AI to build and exit the subscription economy....

I was fueled (as always) by hate. 

HATRED of these 7 things SaaS tools do.....

1. Requires my payment info for a free trial. 
2. Charges via token based subscriptions. 
3. Sells my data to third-party tools.
4. Has NO option to delete the account in dashboard.
5. Has NO option to request data deletion in dashboard. 
6. Has NO sign of a support email anywhere.
7. The chat support AI is awful & poorly programmed. 

Last summer I cut my $500 tool stack down to $25 and left Google, Meta, OpenAI and quit a billion AI tool subscriptions. 

Data privacy was my driver. 
AI innovation means I can build any tool myself.
Being a nerd makes it all a bit easier.

The process though?

Time consuming, annoying and frustrating. 

Anyone else HATE the data collection, surveillance state we have to deal with?

The smart marketing play is rage bait OR.... 

Writing vanilla niche content about your business. 

I struggle to simply do this. 

But on LinkedIn?

No big account like mine gets away with real thoughts on trending topics.... You'd have to go to X to speak freely. Soooo that is why LinkedIn is run by robots, virtual assistants and paid ads. 

Sometimes I get sloppy and leak a rant and remember why I got banned 10+ times on this platform.

People love to shoot the messenger here.

This weekend I was building a home server.....

But I lost power, my AC unit broke and my neighbor partied until the sun didn't shine...

So I had to bail on my plans... 

I'm switching my windows pc... a GMKtec Evo X2 into a Linux distro to self host my own local AI, a calendar booking system, a book/music library and well I'd go on but I lost all of you. 

I nerd out on local AI and value privacy.

If u made it this far this post has no lesson. No leadership tip.

Just simply a weekend spent sweating my nuts off...

(and laughing at my choice of country)  

I did however decide on a Linux distro and created a step-by-step plan to follow.

Sam Altman's brave vision for a greater future is worth aligning with... and lets be honest... you just have to pay attention to the greatest country on earth choosing OpenAI as it's AI tool of choice.

I didn't resubscribe today. 

I deleted my ChatGPT a long time ago.

I don't use Claude or Google Gemini either..

All the companies steal your data, sell it to third parties and yes build mass surveillance networks.

Use Claude and keep handing over your data and trust that they'll keep it safe for you...

Unhinged comments > value driven posts.

This is the sad reality of LinkedIn in 2026...... 

I regularly get 20k+ impressions on my comments and I struggle to reach 20k impressions on my posts. 

Why is it so easy to get reach on comments?

1. Everyone uses AI bots or virtual assistants. 
2. As a result the comments are safe and boring. 
3. I risk being offensive with my comments. 
4. Most of you don't have any nuts. 

So why is it so hard to get reach on value driven posts?

1. The average user's brain is dead. 
2. LinkedIn wants you to pay for thought leader ads.
3. People consume fear (c)orn.  
4. The demographic of the average user has changed since 2021....

I could go on but I'd risk too much truth telling.

My current blueprint?

Comment unhinged.
Post for my niche. 
Run thought leader ads. 

There's no point obsessing over content any more. Just run ads and comment your actual thoughts.
