A French friend recently shared something special, the first ever podcast of Emmanuel Macron by Raj Shamani.

It was fascinating to watch.

Not for political reasons, but because it highlighted something deeper about how cultures influence the way we think, lead, and build.

Over the years, through professional collaborations and leadership within Toastmasters International | District 59, strong connections with France have naturally developed. 

French colleagues and leaders often bring a distinctive approach.

Depth over noise.
Debate with respect.
Logic blended with culture.
Long-term thinking over short-term reactions.

Many Toastmasters conversations with French members were never just about speeches. They became discussions about ideas, philosophy, and perspective.

Standing at the intersection of India and Europe, interesting contrasts become visible.

India represents speed, ambition, and scale.
France represents intellectual rigor, research depth, and refined thinking.

When such worlds interact, growth happens.

It is an interesting world we are moving into. More connected. More collaborative. Yet deeply rooted in identity and culture.
