I needed some copy written in a very specific style. 

So I fed the exact same custom prompt to Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT

To my surprise, Gemini sounded the most human.

Claude and ChatGPT started okay. 

But halfway through, they slid back into their "default" settings. 
and sounded robotic.

Gemini was slower to catch the prompt

But it just gave me the human tone I asked for.

If this country collapses, forget America, the whole world is screwed.

It’s Japan. We keep talking about the US economy, recession, elections…
But the real bomb is sitting quietly in Tokyo. And it’s finally ticking.

But what is it actually? 

For 30 years, Japan was the world’s ATM.

Borrow money at 0% interest from Japan…
Invest it in:

* US bonds (4%)
* US stocks (8%)
* India bonds (6–8%)
* Other markets

After conversion costs and hedging, still pure profit.
This was the famous Yen Carry Trade. 

The entire global financial system relied on it.Banks, hedge funds, governments→everyone.

Then Japan did the unthinkable.

On 19th November, interest rates suddenly jumped to 2.8%. 
If it touches 3%, Japan won’t be able to pay back its own debt, which is 2.5X their GDP.

No major country on earth carries this level of debt. This is not a “problem.” This is an economic heart attack.

And now the maths has collapsed:
➡️ Borrow at 2.8%
➡️ Earn 3–4% abroad
➡️ Margin = DEAD

The free money machine just stopped.

What happens next?

-Everyone who borrowed cheap Yen is panicking.
-To repay Japan, they might start selling assets in the US market.
-Pull money out of emerging markets and dump global stocks.

This is why the finance world is freaking out. Not because of recession. But because Japan just broke a 30-year formula that kept markets stable.

Because for the first time in decades:

* Inflation crossed 2.5%
* Wages didn’t grow
* Prices went up
* People couldn’t survive

To control inflation, they had only one option: Raise interest rates.

Even when Japan moved from 0.1% → 0.25% last year, their stock market (Nikkei) crashed 12% in one day. 
That was nothing. This is the real earthquake.

This is not the time to be over-smart with risky investments.
Don’t go for wild returns.
Don’t chase hype.

Protect your capital. What’s happening in Japan is a warning.

That’s the part they don’t tell you on LinkedIn.

Meet Raghav.

✅IIT + IIM.
✅Top of his class.
✅Handpicked by a global MNC.
✅Posted in Singapore with a ₹2.5 crore INR ($300,000 USD) package.

Life was set except it wasn’t.

During the lockdown, things felt perfect.
-Remote work.
-Living in India with his wife.
-They had their first child.
-Everything was warm, whole, human.

Then the world reopened. And with it, expectations returned.

❌“Come back to Singapore.”
❌“Back to office, full-time.”
❌“Hybrid isn’t an option.”
❌“That’s not how we work.”

Australia just did something that will shock every parent, teen, creator, and digital business owner.

They have officially banned social media for all kids under 16, even after a court challenge tried to stop it.

From Dec 10, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube… all must remove under-16 users or face huge penalties.

That’s not a small policy change. That’s a signal.

Here’s what it really means:

1️⃣ Attention will be controlled.
The “free reach” we enjoy today can be restricted tomorrow. Nothing on social media is guaranteed.

2️⃣ Safety > access.
Governments are finally saying: it’s okay to grow slowly, as long as kids grow safely.

3️⃣ Creators must adapt fast.
If platforms start filtering minors, your content strategy, hooks, and audience focus must evolve overnight.

4️⃣ Trust > virality
In the future, the creators who win will be the ones who act responsibly, not the ones who chase every trend.

As someone who teaches people how to earn online, this feels important.

We all think the internet will remain the same forever.
It won’t.

Algorithms change.
Policies change.
Access changes.
Entire industries shift in a year.

But one thing doesn’t change:
Your skills. Your story. Your value.

If you want to build an online career- freelancing, content, coaching, anything- don’t depend on “what works right now.”

Build something that survives rule changes.

Because the next big regulation may not be in Australia.
It could be in India.
Or anywhere.

Only in India can a bad manager fire you and later beg you to return when things fall apart. 

Funny how a techie from Bengaluru, fired by a toxic boss, not for performance, but because the boss wanted control, was called back by the same company after his replacement lasted just three weeks. 

Just imagine! 😂

Jokes apart, this is not an exceptional story. It keeps happening in the Indian workplace. 

I then tried to understand why
* In India, heavy workloads and lack of clear HR processes mean one bad manager can crush careers.
* We treat seniority and position as authority 
* A minute of break becomes “non-performance,” 12+ hour days become “normal,” and speaking up becomes “disloyalty.”

So no wonder so many good people leave.

What countries like Japan and Singapore get right

* In Japan, though overtime exists, there is respect for structure. 
* In Singapore, work expectations are balanced, and culture values clarity over politics. You’re judged by output, not by favoritism. 
* These nations understand: you can’t build great companies by draining people emotionally. You build them by protecting talent and giving stability.

India isn’t short on talent. We have brilliant engineers, creative minds, hard workers who hustle every day.

But we are short on decent leadership, fair systems, and human respect at work.

This company that fired and rehired the techie didn’t do it because they believed in him.
They did it because they ran out of options.

Talent can be replaced. Trust can’t.

If Indian workplaces want to grow sustainably as companies, as culture, as careers, start with treating people like people. Stop managing them like variables.

Because I don’t believe people quit jobs. They quit bosses who treat them badly.

I logged in at 11:00 for a routine day. By 11:04 I was laid off. 

This happened earlier this year when a US-based company laid off several Indian employees in a four-minute online meeting.

No one expected it. They were hitting targets. Their team was performing well.

The company had raised funding. Everything looked normal from the outside.

This is exactly why these stories matter. They show how unpredictable jobs have become, even in companies that look stable.

1. A job is not a financial plan. Your salary can stop without notice. Your expenses will not.

2. You need a minimum six-month safety buffer. Most people keep two months of savings. That is not enough in today’s market, where hiring cycles are slow and interviews stretch for weeks.

3. You need at least one second skill that companies actually pay for. A monetisable skill. Something you can use to get freelance projects or contract work if you need it.

4. Your network matters more than your CV during a layoff. People who find roles quickly usually have strong connections. Referrals move faster than cold applications.

5. Learn how your industry is moving. If your company is cutting roles, others in the same industry may follow. Staying updated gives you time to prepare.

Most people think layoffs happen only when you underperform. But in 2024 and 2025, layoffs have become structural. If the company needs to cut costs, entire teams go together.

You do not control that. You only control how ready you are.

A four-minute call should never be the difference between stability and panic. Preparation is not optional anymore.

India gives you the salary but not the life. Suppose you get a 25 lakh CTC in Gurgaon. Your take-home will be roughly ₹1.45–1.55 lakh per month (after taxes and deductions).

But before you start feeling rich, here’s what the cost of “living a good life” in a metro eats up:

* 1BHK rent in a decent sector: ₹28,000–₹35,000
* Maintenance, utilities, electricity: ₹8,000–₹14,000
* Groceries & daily food: ₹10,000–₹14,000
* Commuting, petrol/parking, last-mile: ₹10,000–₹18,000
* Internet, mobile, household miscellaneous: ~₹2,500–₹4,000
* Weekend outings / random expenses / small luxuries: ₹6,000–₹12,000
* Buffer for emergencies, medical, repairs, unpredictable expenses: ₹8,000–₹10,000

After all this, your “comfortable life” in a city like Gurgaon leaves you with ₹35,000–₹45,000 as savings, only if nothing breaks down, no rides get cancelled, no surprise bills show up, no festival season hits.

That’s the 25 lakh dream.

Now let’s shift the same mindset + similar costs, but to Singapore.

According to recent data, an average single person in Singapore spends around SGD 1,200–2,500 per month (₹73,000–₹1.53 lakh), depending on accommodation and lifestyle. 

Once housing and shared living are optimized, fundamental monthly expenses (food, transport, utilities, basics) stay fairly stable. 

Here’s what changes when the numbers move but quality stays high:
• Public transport works. Reliable.
• Clean air. Reliable water. No surprise power cuts.
• Weekends feel like weekends- peace, rest, actual leisure.
• Savings don’t evaporate because you’re not paying hidden costs: unpredictable petrol hikes, polluted air, random noise, commuting stress, health bills.
• Mental load is low. Living becomes stable, manageable.

Bottom line: the salary number doesn’t change much. But your life output- time, mental bandwidth, savings, health, calm, changes dramatically.

When you calculate like this, it’s not about who earns more. It’s about who lives better.

If you chase only CTC and forget lifestyle cost, you end up poor in peace. You might earn 25 lakhs but you have nothing as savings. 

Would you prefer Singapore over UK, USA, Australia? 
Switch the lens.
Measure what money gives you back. That’s the real success.

“If you are rich, we will squeeze every drop out of you.” This is what the UK government has decided to do. 

Imagine working your whole life and the government takes 40% of everything you built, even outside their borders. Who will stay after that?

This is why Lakshmi Mittal and 16,000 millionaires are running away from UK as it’s no longer a country, it’s a tax punishment centre.

Let me break the disaster:

1️⃣ Capital Gains Tax increased (Oct 2024): From 20% → 24%. Just like that.

2️⃣ UK KILLED the Non-Dom Regime (Apr 2025): The biggest reason global wealthy lived in the UK was simple:
Foreign income = not taxed.
Foreign assets = not taxed.

It’s literally: Keep your money.
Live safely. Build freely.

Who wouldn’t pick that?
I feel, the UK forgot one basic rule of economics: Wealthy people don’t tolerate punishment. They relocate.

And when 250,000+ people leave in one year… that’s not migration.
That’s a warning. 

Right now, if you’re thinking global…your safest, smartest bet is UAE.

Not because it’s flashy. But because it’s fair.

You think India is the most unsafe country? No. Look at the UK. It no longer has safety, healthcare, even money to thrive. 

This is a warning sign for Indians living in UK and Indians students to reconsider their choice. 

Now haters will say this is all lies and people love comparing countries without checking numbers. So let’s actually look at the numbers.

And the picture the UK shows right now is nothing like the reputation it still carries.

Here’s what most of us don’t know.

1. London alone had more than 80,000 phone thefts last year.
-That’s 80k people losing their phones in one city.
-It’s just last year. 

2. 2,57,000 already left UK
-UK thought around 70,000 citizens were emigrating each year. But the updated number is this. 
-That’s more than 3 times higher than what the UK believed.

3. Everyday speech is now policed more than street crime.
-12k+ arrested every year in the UK for online communication offences.
-That’s over 30 arrests a day.
-That doesn’t feel like a “free country” anymore. 

4. Economy is at record low
-Since 2019 the US grew more than twelve percent. 
-The eurozone around 6%. The UK around 5%.
-That means middle class will hit rock bottom. 

5. The rich are leaving too
-Around 60,500 millionaires are expected to leave the UK this year.
-When high taxpayers exit, it shifts to the locals. 

6. Migration patterns flipped after Brexit.
-Before Brexit, most new migrants came from the EU.
-Now the majority comes from outside the EU.

So yes, India has its own problems. But the UK is not the perfect, safe, predictable country people imagine it to be.
Not anymore.

If you want to understand a country, don’t look at its PR. Look at who is arriving and who is leaving and who wishes they could.
