My friend texted me today and said she cried at work.

because she could not handle pressure. But because she felt trapped, unheard, and drained doing something that slowly eats at her every day.

And it made me think about how normal we have made this.

We have normalised crying in washrooms, staring at screens with numb eyes, and convincing ourselves that this is just how adulthood works.

Work will be stressful sometimes. That is fine. 
But work should not make you feel small, disposable, or emotionally exhausted on a daily basis.

And no, passion is not the solution either. 
Discipline matters. Stability matters. But so does self respect.

If you are waking up every day dreading your work, pushing through only because you are scared of change, you are paying with your mental health. That cost is never worth it.

This is not about quitting impulsively. It is about being honest with yourself before burnout makes the decision for you.

I quit LinkedIn in one week. Six months later, I had 8,000 followers.

If you hate Mondays, you probably do not lack motivation. You lack purpose.

My mentor told me this years ago and I remember brushing it off at first. (I hate to break it to you) it turned out to be one of the most honest things I have heard.

When people say they hate Mondays, they are not complaining about a day. 
They are reacting to a life they do not want to wake up to.

That is not a Monday problem. 
That is a work and direction problem.

When your work feels empty or disconnected from who you are, Mondays feel heavy by default. No routine, productivity hack, or mindset trick can cover that gap.

When you actually care about what you are building, Mondays feel normal. 
Sometimes even energising, because there is intent behind your effort.

If you hate your work and your Mondays suck, (and this part stings) you are still choosing it. Responsibility is real, but staying stuck forever is still a decision.

focus on these 3 things only.

- Your profile is a landing page.

- Your headline, banner, About section, experience
all of it should answer one question clearly:

If you’re a personal branding strategist , you should stop. There are no opportunities left.

These were the exact words someone said to me on a consultation call two years ago.

And I still remember them clearly.

Out of curiosity, I did a quick search back then.
