    restaurants a revenue lifeline during Covid
•  Built a team of 50+ volunteers, including some of the world's biggest names in hospitality
•  Co-wrote legislation that received overwhelming bi-partisan support 

Cocktails For Hope is an initiative that advocates for the temporary sale of pre-mixed cocktails in containers sealed by on-premise license holding establishments in the State of Illinois. Cocktails For Hope is committed to creating necessary cash flow to bars and restaurants throughout the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic to allow them to remain in business. The initiative also seeks to create an open line of communication with lawmakers for continued conversations as the hospitality landscape evolves over time. After the acquisition of Ascendant Technology, I was in a leadership role as the VP of Technology in a newly forming services group within the Fortune 100 Avnet family with their Technology Solutions division.

Ascendant Technology was a privately held global consulting services firm that was a 6-time Inc 500 fastest growing company with core competencies in e-commerce, digital marketing, social, and enterprise productivity. Before the Avnet acquisition in April of 2012, we were headquartered in Austin, TX with offices across the US, Europe, Brazil, and India. As the technology leader, I set the strategic direction for the firm's portfolio of services, managed a team of senior technology leaders and their P&Ls, interfaced with the sales leadership, lead pre-sales for strategic accounts, owned M&A technology diligence, and designed the employee career development program for the 600 plus technology employees. 

We were one of the first services firms to implement Managed Services into our core offering and built a follow-the-sun infrastructure to maintain client applications with development resources across Chennai India, Belgrade Serbia, North America, and Florinapolis Brazil.

Ascendant provided an exciting opportunity to build and engage with a killer team, work with some of the globe's top accounts, and have a lot of fun working on challenging projects. I am still close to colleagues met during this time.

I am a Principal at EY Consulting in the Data & Analytics division where I am working to infuse AI and advanced analytics into our consumer and retail clients. 

Previously, I founded and ran an AI platform that is centered on the prediction of product and brand fit for a variety of consumers. We use technologies like NLP, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and Neural Networks to build both consumer-centric industry models and learn a thing or two about the consumers engaging in those industries, providing unique insights and data assets to our customers. I am incredibly proud of that award-winning solution.

I have also enjoyed building companies to solve wicked problems in a cooperative atmosphere, which tends to keep people energized, engaged and happy.
