But deep down, I felt small and stuck, like something important was missing.

Eventually, I realized I wasn’t living a life that felt true to me, I was living one I thought I was supposed to. 

That’s when I started letting go of the beliefs, expectations, and blockers holding me back. I got honest about what I really wanted: freedom, purpose, and a life I actually loved.

But it meant walking away from my 6-figure salary tech job and into the unknown..

Now, my focus is on living my full potential and helping others do the same. Whether it’s through coaching, creating events/experiences, or working on projects/investments I believe in, I’m all about fearlessly taking action to realign with the life we deserve.

Kajabi is a $100MM ARR SaaS company enabling creators to run knowledge businesses (e.g. courses).

Growth & Monetization:
Conceived & led launch of a 0-1 white-labeled mobile app product to drive incremental ARR from existing customers, becoming Kajabi’s 2nd biggest product launch in 2023. 

- Selected by CPO to identify new business opportunities to revitalize ARR growth. Conducted qualitative & quantitative research to identify that a white-labeled mobile app product is the top unmet customer need, representing a $8MM ARR opportunity (+8%). 
- Evaluated M&A, vendor partnerships, & internal team to determine the best option to build the product. Provided recommendation to build with internal team & secured immediate resourcing.
- Led cross-functional team of 10+ to design, build, & launch the app product within 3 months. Product had 4 parts: 1) Onboarding - data ingestion of user info, 2) App build – capable of simultaneously building multiple white-labeled apps within minutes, 3) Billing, 4) Acct management.
- Conducted usability testing & implemented improvements to cut the onboarding time by 75%. 
- Built metrics dashboard to track user progress through the app build process. Launched automated nudges to push users to complete building their app, <2% cancellation rate. 
- Conducted competitive analysis and pricing research and set pricing strategy including trial promotion to drive sign-ups.
- Conceived innovative go-to-market strategies, exceeding waitlist goal by 6x (7,700 sign-ups). 
- Implemented scalable roll-out plan, achieving 750 paid sign-ups within first 2 months, +150% vs goal.
- Expanded the engineering team from 6 to 10 to support the aggressive 12-month roadmap.

Marketing Tools:

- Developed strategy and managed roadmap for core marketing tools products (email, funnels) and launched numerous feature improvements and “next best actions” driving 30%+ faster product adoption.

MyIntent.org

Led all aspects of fast growth D2C e-commerce brand including product development, marketing, and growth. The company included two 7-figure & one 6-figure product lines. Product was worn by Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, James Harden and many more. MyIntent is a Health & Wellness jewelry brand that helps customers live more intentionally by finding a WORD of intention and engraving their WORD on a custom wearable daily reminder.  

- Doubled annual sales within 2 yrs through new product launches and optimizing each step of growth (e.g. acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, referral).
- Revamped paid ads strategy, transforming an initially unprofitable acquisition channel into a growth engine. Hands-on experience launching and managing $8MM+ in ad spend over 5 yrs. 
- Built and launched a lead gen quiz product that simultaneously overcame top purchase barrier and acquired customer contact information, lowered CPC by 82%.
- Analyzed website heatmap and traffic flow data and conducted dozens of A/B tests to improve website and landing page performance, achieving a +40% ROI on ads.
- Boosted customer engagement by creating use-case based educational content (community, blog, email) and launching loyalty and referral programs. Grew online community to 18K members.
- Improved customer success and retention by launching a post-purchase onboarding program with training videos, how-to content, and webinars. Improved repeat customers from 4% to 20% of sales.
- Managed developers to ensure website met growing business needs such as integrating with 3rd party tools, optimizing purchase flow, enabling B2B/wholesale, and improving customer onboarding. 
- Led GTM for 2 new product lines (one $4MM+, one $500K+ sales annually) that drove cross-sell/up-sell opportunities and fueled PLG.

Amazon

Led product, growth, and monetization for a B2B self-service product enabling tens of thousands of vendors to design, build, and publish “A+ marketing content” to millions of Amazon product pages globally. A+ content is viewed millions of times a day by shoppers.

- Directed a cross-functional team of 50+ in developing and managing the A+ Marketing Content eco-system, overseeing roadmap, feature prioritization, UX, billing, go-to-market, and content compliance.
- Revamped the A+ product from a pay-per-use model to a freemium product with a free basic tier and a premium option to meet two-pronged goal of increasing A+ coverage while driving revenue.
- Conceived and launched a new 0-1 Premium A+ product to meet Tier 1 customer needs. Pitched & secured $3MM from 5 Tier 1 vendors (e.g. Samsung, Bose) to join a Premium A+ Beta. Leveraged data from Beta to author and present a whitepaper to leadership. Led to the formation of a 5 engineer team to build Premium A+ into a self-service product projected to drive $50MM+ in incremental marketing investment from vendors annually.
- Launched numerous features to optimize product onboarding experience enabling usage growth from thousands to millions of marketing pages published.
- Leveraged data to propose next-best-actions dashboard to drive repeat and PLG. 
- Collaborated with the Economics team to create a large-scale attribution model demonstrating A+ content boosts sales by 3-30%, impacting global sales by ~$1B annually. Findings were endorsed by Amazon’s Chief Economist and featured in SVP Quarterly Business Report. 
- Scaled 5-person engineering team and 6-person off-shore content auditor team to 20 engineers and 30+ auditors, accelerating product development and sales impact. 
- Spearheaded GTM strategy with a team of 11 global SME’s. Grew customer base from hundreds to tens of thousands of vendors.

Led global growth and messaging strategy for $1B Gillette Mach3 business.

Brand Strategy:
- Developed strategy to enable Mach3 to increase users 2x by focusing on a new target consumer group and engagement / retention framework leading to a new brand equity and 5 yr product innovation strategy.
- Led team of 4 advertising agencies to develop a new global integrated-marketing campaign focused on re-igniting growth for the $1BN+ global Mach3 brand.
- Influenced management to develop digitally-focused, content-rich advertising toolkit.

New Product Launch
- Managed multi-functional team to deliver winning product innovation overcoming #1 purchase barrier (value) via superior product performance.
- Partnered with IDEO design agency to develop innovative product demos showcasing Mach3’s new technology in consumer-relevant ways – demos to be used in TV ads and online educational content.

Base Business
- Delivered global campaign overcoming value barrier by reframing product value equation - "1 Mach3 lasts a 3 week trip around the world." Campaign aired in Western Europe in July '13.
- Managed MBA intern to deliver thought-provoking insights on changes Gillette needs to make in order to win with retailers (Walmart, Target, etc).

P&G Gillette Asian Pacific American (APA) Affinity Group
Active leader within the P&G Gillette APA affinity group.  Hosted numerous community building events including concerts and events with influential Asian celebrities / influencers.

Led product positioning & consumer insights for Gillette's most premium product line: Fusion ProGlide.

- Led new and breakthrough product stories, claims, and positioning for Gillette's #1 Product. Highlights include:
a) Developed product story leveraging Russian consumer insights for Gillette’s Sochi Olympics campaign: scored in the Top 5% of P&G TV ad qualifications indicating high engagement, awareness, and persuasion.
b) Designed strategy to deliver 11M new users by identifying shopper barriers & connecting with new consumer groups. Launched “Up to 5 weeks” campaign addressing value purchase barrier in May 2012.
c) Analyzed & presented data that secured Gillette’s first-ever category-wide superiority claim, “ProGlide is the best shave,” which enabled the NFL “No Debate” ad campaign.
d) Identified consumer insights leading to new educational advertising messaging to win with Millennial males.

- Managed intern to develop new product demos uncovering new product superiority insights vs. competition.
- Led OSU Asian Pacific American R&D recruiting to record 9 APA hires (180IYA) via strategic partnerships. Awarded CEO Excellence in Recruiting award (1 of 6).

Recruiter:
Youngest member of the P&G Asian Pacific American (APA) R&D corporate recruiting team responsible for achieving recruiting targets for Asian technical talent.  I was the lead corporate sponsor of the P&G and Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE) recruiting partnership. Led P&G teams of 10+ to recruit at the SASE National Conference and Career Fair.

Liaison between commercial & technical teams with product ownership delivering winning product designs & cost savings worth $30M.

 - Oversaw product development for a new tampon targeting a new customer, reversing 10% YOY business decline and increasing business from -$20MM to +$6MM. 
 - Identified and enabled synergies across complex product / material platforms resulting in savings of $9M/yr. 
 - Designed proposal and coached intern to identify consumer specs for critical product 
   performance specifications.
 - Ideated key step to enable 70% faster manufacturing for Tampax Pearl, $10M/yr savings.  Named on patent.
 
Proposed breakthrough digital marketing plan to FemCare President, Vice President, and Digital Marketing leader.  Campaign executed in Dec. 2010 and leveraged YouTube Celebrities driving over 1 million views; 100x typical viewership for a Tampax video.  My idea came years before brands started leveraging YouTube as an advertising platform.

I'm an Airbnb Superhost and a Yelp Elite reviewer since '16. I'm also an expert travel hacker (using credit card and airline/hotel points for free travel) and have traveled to 32 countries with my wife Sandy.
