I used to measure success by titles, salaries, and achievements. I worked with brands like Google, Samsung, Roku, and Sony, led amazing teams, and hit all the marks society says make you “successful.” 

But deep down, I felt small and stuck, like something important was missing.

Eventually, I realized I wasn’t living a life that felt true to me, I was living one I thought I was supposed to. 

That’s when I started letting go of the beliefs, expectations, and blockers holding me back. I got honest about what I really wanted: freedom, purpose, and a life I actually loved.

But it meant walking away from my 6-figure salary tech job and into the unknown..

Now, my focus is on living my full potential and helping others do the same. Whether it’s through coaching, creating events/experiences, or working on projects/investments I believe in, I’m all about fearlessly taking action to realign with the life we deserve.

I managed the onboarding process for approximately 40-60 candidates per month between St. Mary Medical Center and St. Jude Medical Center. From pre-boarding to hire, I was responsible for auditing employee files, processing background checks and I-9's, scheduling appointments, and cross-referencing information between Workday, Taleo, and HireRight to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Being the consultant between new hires, managers, and recruiters, communication was the most valuable asset of success of getting our new team members hired on time.

We met with upper management to re-evaluate job descriptions and aligned it with current tasks/responsibilities, composed job postings, screened candidates, and accommodated hiring managers when deemed necessary.

Aside from recruitment, I took the initiative to lead the onboarding project. The purpose of the Onboarding Guide was to improve the perception of the new employee experience. The guide touched on areas such as first day expectations, an overview of the company, connecting with others, tools/resources, payroll, work perks, etc. It was my goal to enhance the onboarding experience by transitioning new hires into the company culture and values.
