I am an off-the-chart ENFP, a challenger, an activator and an optimist.  I use my left- and right brain hemispheres simultaneously, always exploring routes to the full potential of my clients. I don’t just work for companies, I work for people. I prefer to work with frontrunners, who are the multipliers in organizations, also known as ‘Chiefs'.  I love crafting highly ambitious plans, supporting brave transformations and creating future-proof cultures with them. I build long-term relationships and follow my clients on their path of transformation. 

My approach is an intense cocktail of learning, experiencing, debating, deepening, speeding up, laughing and translating all into daily life. People leave my sessions energized and determined to start. 

I travel around Europe to work with a high variety of clients and always return to my favorite city Berlin, where I live with my wife and kids.

Friday is Hive Day. 
Walk for a Bloke. 

It's actually my birthday today - and to celebrate I'm signing up to take part in the Basel Walk for a Bloke to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health

26km on Saturday 21st March. 

'Walk for a Bloke' began in Australia after the loss of Nick, a much-loved brother, son and mate who took his own life. In 2022, his friends retraced a 25km route they’d once walked together. No banners. No bravado. Just blokes, side by side, talking. Because something about walking makes talking easier.

Here in Switzerland, two men die by suicide every single day.

Hive Day is almost Valentine's Day.
Let's talk about sex, baby. (With apologies to Salt n’Pepa, circa 1990)

A virgin Queen bee will only make one flight in her life (unless she leaves with a swarm), called her honeymoon flight. She flies in a circle close to her
hive in late spring. Male drones from her own hive or other hives will
follow her, and she may mate with more than one drone while flying.
The young Queen’s eggs are not fertilised straight away. She will store
up to six million sperm from multiple drones in her spermatheca. When
safely back in the hive, she will selectively release sperm to fertilise eggs
for the remainder of her life. She may lay up to 1,000 eggs per day. Those eggs that are fertilised become the female worker bees. Unfertilised eggs become the male drones. The male bees are therefore haploid, meaning they only have the genes possessed by the queen.

The role of the male drones is only to fertilise the Queen. They cannot even feed themselves and are entirely reliant on the female worker bees to survive. At the end of the summer, when they are no longer needed, they are starved to death and their bodies are pushed out the front of the hive.
