I have built, scaled, and run security programs as a CISO at 4 different organizations ranging from small tech startups to trillion dollar government organizations. The early part of my career was spent working in application security and red teaming. Cybersecurity is a passion of mine; using it to do amazing things is something that gets me fired up.

That’s why I founded Sidekick Security. To help organizations achieve security-led growth and digital transformations. In an age of trust as currency in so many industries, I believe this is the time when security truly can be an enabler. 

Beyond that, I am a lifelong learner. I love studying outside of my field and finding ways to expand the mental models I have to solve problems differently, more effectively, or to think about them in altogether new and fresh ways.

Led a team of 125 Directors, Field Technical Sales Managers, Sales Engineers and BDRs from $2M in ACV at RedLock in CY 2017 to over $100M ARR in CY 2019 post-acquisition at Palo Alto Networks. VP WW Sales for Prisma Cloud, the combination of Evident.io, RedLock, Twistlock, PureSec & Aporeto.

Reorganized and rapidly expanded RedLock's field sales organization. The team quadrupled ACV in my ten month tenure prior to the acquisition of RedLock by Palo Alto Networks and was on pace to sextuple revenue year over year from $2M to $12M ACV.

As VP of Sales for the Eastern half of the United States and Canada, built the team from six senior field sales managers to sixteen while sextupling bookings.

Citrix

Led a team of over fifty Sales and Sales Engineering professionals dedicated to selling Citrix's market-leading secure Enterprise Mobility Management solution, XenMobile, to commercial Large Enterprise and Public Sector accounts across the United States, Canada and Latin America.  More than doubled sales year over year for three years, from $12M in 2012 to over $100M in 2015.

Sr. Director of Americas Sales - Mobility

Led Field Sales and Sales Engineering for the Eastern US, Canada and Federal markets. In the first three months in the role prior to the acquisition of Zenprise by Citrix Systems, Inc., rapidly reorganized territory coverage and recruited five Sr. Sales Reps and Sales Engineers from former teams at Aventail and SonicWALL to up-level the team and improve coverage in key markets.

SonicWALL (acquired by Dell)

SonicWALL is a leading Next Generation Firewall manufacturer, with millions of appliances sold, and a leader in the Secure Remote Access, Email Security and Secure Wireless LAN markets. As a direct report to the VP of Sales for the Americas, led a team of eleven Enterprise Account Managers focused on identifying and closing new business with large commercial Enterprises, Federal and State & Local agencies, Colleges, Universities and K-12 School Districts.

Led a team of six Channel Account Managers and three Enterprise Account Managers covering the Eastern United States. Responsible for the single largest region within SonicWALL in terms of sales at over $60M annually.

Aventail (acquired by SonicWALL)

Backed by Oak Investment Partners, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Ventures, GRP Parnters and others, Aventail pioneered the SSL VPN market in the late 1990s, offering both a CPE-based managed service and appliance-based solution. Aventail was consistently ranked as a Leader and Visionary by Gartner Group, serving multiple Fortune 500 clients including Morgan Stanley, Bear Stearns, Mass Mutual, Aetna, DuPont, Deloitte and Ernst & Young. As a direct report to the COO and WW VP of Sales, led a team of eight strategic account managers, ten sales engineers and eight territory sales managers covering all vertical markets within the United States and Canada.

Led sales and sales engineering for the United States east of the Mississippi.

Oblix (acquired by Oracle Corporation)

A Kleiner Perkins backed startup, Oblix was a pioneer in the Identity Management and Web Single Sign On markets, subsequently acquired by Oracle Corporation. Individual contributor covering VA, DC, MD and DE reporting to the Director of Sales, East and Federal.
