This is one INSANE business model.

Here's how Reese Witherspooon did it - let's break it down:

Reese built a book club with 2,5M subscribers.

↓

She approached publishers of books 📚

↓

She told them that in exchange for having her book club read their book, and they get the book revenue, she negotiated the exclusive rights to turn these stories into movies or TV shows.

(such a brilliant example of how she turned HER knowledge and background into a competitive advantage)

She then A/B tested which books did well in the book club - and if they would make a good TV show (!!).

She went to all the major platforms like HBO, Netflix, Apple TV, Disney + Prime Video, and SOLD the RIGHTS to turn the book into a movie or show.

The money she got from the major platforms she used to produce Emmy Award winning content like:

- The Morning Show
- Big Little Lies etc.

The revenue she got from the movies/shows went back into the book club again.

This is such a BRILLIANT flywheel and ecosystem ♻️

She did all of this without ever putting in a dollar.

A perfect example of the compounding effect of personal branding.

These romantic AI billboards are taking over the internet.

All across the US, Bland AI has put up billboards displaying an AI robot embracing a human on a phone call, with the caption “customer support that actually cares”.

👉 Some think it’s genius.
👉 Others think it’s going too far.

But the real reason it explodes is simple:

We all hate calling big companies.

We dial in and enter into menu hell with holds, transfers, frustration, and no answers.

It’s exhausting.

Then we see a version of support we wish existed.

→ First ring answers.
↳ Understands context.
↳ Solves the issue.
↳ No circus of transfers.

It’s not about robots hugging humans.

It’s about a phone call that works and feels HUMAN.

If AI does what companies failed to do for years, people won’t fear AI.

They’ll crave it.

Why do you think Bland AI is going this viral?

A sh*t ton of money. 

A gorgeous house. 
A fancy car. 
Expensive watches and designer clothes.

❌ NONE of those things makes us happy. 
👉 Still, most people are chasing them.

It's the perfect cage that so many people try to leave between their 40-50s but can't.

What actually makes us happy:

1. Owning our time
2. Building something meaningful

That's why I chose entrepreneurship.

It gave me options, autonomy, and real freedom.

And yes, earning well makes life EASIER.

If you want more control, start building your own thing.

Use your 9 to 5 to fund your 5 to 9.

Start small.
Work on it every day.
↳ Eventually it will start to compound.

If you do well as an entrepreneur, the money comes as a bonus. 

I genuinely believe most people would be happier if they built  something of their own.

Liaised with Project Managers to provide monthly schedule updates on multi-million pound contracts- monitoring actuals and using MSP to determine resource and manage ETCs. Extracting resource and manpower to review in wider team meeting to ensure resource capabilities and demand/supply is visible. 
Created and maintained project plans for a nascent project, creating monthly contract reviews once the project went over £1m. Lead and tracked changes on a more granular breakdown of engineering tasks and used data to calculate Key Performance Indices.
Raised new change requests on Project Manager's advice; importing BoEs into MSP to verify budgets sought and present in weekly updates.

Project Controller

National Composites Centre

Managed the successful delivery of 3 government funded Electric Vehicle projects for 2 SMEs and a project with a large member fully remotely. Planned resource capability and budgets through MSP plans, holding meetings with Technical Leads to scope tasking and monitor progress. Coordinated internal and external project calls to discuss progress and successes, and also resolve issues, making sure project timescales were adhered to and alternative solutions explored. Prepared and delivered Quarterly Reviews with stakeholder, reporting Project finances, timelines and scrutinising the Risk Register. Prepared Gate Review packs for submission. Worked with customers to understand potential project requirements; working with Technical Leads to produce quotations and assemble resource. Ensured timely delivery of subcon sourced work.

Project Lead

MSP planner conducting monthly progress reviews within Engineering to understand task completion against schedule and spend against budget for Earned Value Management. Creating Contract Performance Reviews for Chief Project Engineers ascertaining variances against baseline to report to stakeholder. Creating MSP project plans for new contracts, understanding milestones, inputs, outputs and dependencies to other schedules. Understanding Critical Path between tasks and highlighting any potential schedule movement against task slippage.

Engineering Planner

Morson International

Supply Chain Project Controller conversant with quarterly Contract Status Reviews; articulating both monthly and quarterly variances to Contract Owner and providing analysis on how to treat corresponding over and underspends. 
Preparing and presenting monthly budget performance packs highlighting actual spends against financial forecasts. 
Working closely with Back Office Account Managers to understand their forecast requirements and justify any amendments made.

Part of the project team assisting the closedown of a business area as per project business case. Preparing reports for the Project Owner. Cross functional collaboration creating handover packages for legacy activities. Completing project actions against timeline and planning next stages of project delivery.
Account manager liaising with scaffold instructors in the delivery of a major product improvement work package. Creating and preparing training itineraries. Analysing and researching potential process improvements for successful implementation.

International Coordinator

Lead on process improvements and worked collaboratively on a new process to cascade communications effectively. Trialled and successfully implemented project deliverables.

Experienced Project Professional and CELTA qualified English teacher seeking international relocation or location free remote opportunities.

Successful delivery of 3 Electric Vehicle Projects fully remote during Coronavirus lockdowns; able to build rapport with my team and also customers, managing expectations using timespeak, and being transparent with communication- advising of any issues and offering solutions or compromises. Experienced with planning, scheduling, time management and resourcing within aerospace- again building rapport with engineers to understand task completion and report to Italian counterparts. Account management experience looking after Construction Training Centres across South-East Asia and the Middle East and admitting international students on courses. Teaching online diverse age of students as part of English discussion clubs.
