In my role reporting to the CEO as Community Manager at this Series A open-source, venture-backed start-up, I grew the community by 260% by developing and executing my plan to attract, support, engage, and promote community members. My duties extended beyond the boundaries of the community manager to content creation, education, and marketing operations for the whole company.
• Added over 5500 members by leading the cross-functional development of an online course on our tools across Product, CSE, and DevRel teams and a managed contractor.
• Built and optimized content channel execution through the development of a metrics-based strategy and integrated content marketing plan and editorial calendar for Blog, Video, and Social Media.
• Managed multiple vendors for the production of needed graphic and video assets.
• Produced 40+ newsletters and 26 blog posts approaching 100,000 views
• Increased social media followers by 245% (YouTube), 129% (X/Twitter), 479% (Mailing list), and 1001% (LinkedIn) by developing the strategy and tracking KPIs for omni-channel campaigns.
• Developed product release process and managed 8 product releases.
• Delivered actionable feedback to Product and GTM teams by developing a system to process user-generated content from the community.
• Increased engagement and relationship building with hundreds of community members by promotion of member content about our MLOps tool ecosystem
• Engaged an audience of thousands of attendees by hosting 30+ online and in-person meetup events.
• Drove successful participation in 13 conferences through research of best fit, careful planning, and logistics coordination.
• Built 6 and 12-month plans for the community taking into account trends, metrics, and cash flow management.
• Overhauled and streamlined disparate internal database systems that managed conference research, events, and DevRel talk inventory into one system that is leveraged by the entire organization.
