What happens when you take a patriotic American song and make it about biking?

You get "Battle Hymn of the Bicycle" - my new single that just dropped.

A fun reimagining of "Battle Hymn of the Republic."

Instead of marching into battle, we're pedaling through puddles.

The recording process was pure joy:

↳ Captured wind rushing past during morning rides
↳ Recorded the rhythmic click-click of pedal rotations
↳ Found melodies in the sound of tires on wet pavement
↳ Replaced war drums with the gentle whoosh of spinning spokes

The contrast made me smile every day in the studio.

I’m the founder of Storyology, a story and strategy studio that turns complex ideas into compelling narratives for inspiring brands and humans. I’m also a senior contributor at Forbes, covering the intersection of consumer tech and science. My podcast, Tiny Little Victories, airs monthly on Wednesdays and features candid conversations with people making a difference.

I published two books: Love, Lust, Longing and Truth (2017) and Deluge in a Paper Cup (2020), and I’m a co-author of Faster than the Future by the Digital Future Society. My third book, Thrust, is coming in spring 2026 — a curation of capricious poetry, literary alchemy and satirical odes that invite readers to bend their perception of what a poem can be.

Before Storyology, I founded one of the first global virtual tech PR and content agencies. Eighty percent of our clients were acquired by giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft — proof that good stories scale.

I’ve moderated on global stages including SXSW, Mobile World Congress, Web Summit, and Pioneers Festival, and I’ve had the privilege of interviewing everyone from astronauts and Nobel Laureates to Jane Goodall, Kevin Costner and Robert Rodriguez, just to name drop a few
