How to get your ACCA PER signed off


You can pass all the exams.
You can finish the EPSM.

But without your PER,
you are not an ACCA member.

Here is the truth.
Getting your PER signed off is not hard…
if you know the exact steps.

Step 1: Know what you need

36 months of relevant work

9 performance objectives: 5 Essentials + 4 Technical

Write 200 to 500 words for each objective showing real examples of your work


Step 2: Use MyExperience in MyACCA

Add your roles, dates, and relevant work

Submit your objectives to your supervisor when ready

Only submit when leaving a job or when you have completed everything


Step 3: Pick the right supervisor

Must be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CA, CPA or similar)

If your boss is not qualified, you can have a second qualified supervisor

They must register through the link from MyExperience before signing anything


Step 4: Know the 2025 rules

You only submit the full objective, not separate elements

Performance Objective 3 now includes sustainability


Step 5: If you work for an Approved Employer

No need to write objectives

Submit the simplified confirmation form instead


Step 6: The timeline

Even short roles count if they are relevant

4 months of focused work can be enough for one objective

Once signed, ACCA usually processes in a few days
