ENGINEER MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE

Engineer--Mechanical Maintenance--Seamless 1 to 7" OD pipe factory, Make=Mannesman Demag, Germany, Cross-roll piercer and Push Bench, SRM Technology. Solved many problems which others were NOT able to solve it or dare to solve it. e.g. converted plant capacity from 5 1/2 to 7 inch Outside diamter at approx. USD 0.3 Million whereas Mannesman Demag, Germany quoted , estimated USD 9 Million. Myself had prepared drawings of modifications of roll, three roll guide, thrust block, cross--transfer arm, SRM, mandral bar extractor and fixed it. Taken successful trial of it. Increase in production from 500 MT / day to 800 Mt/ day. 
30 tonne re-heating furnace--gas fired used for tempering of seamless steel pipes was NOT lifting more than 5 tonne. Nobody was able to solve it. Successfully studied the oil hydraulics and mechanical drawing and rectified it.
Pipe length measuring machine cage pneumatically was under b/d consistently. Studied the pneumatic circuit diagram and solved the problem which nobody else was able to solve it for 2 years.
Done indigenisation of chains, oil hydraulics cylinders, pneumatics cylinders, gear boxes by taking drawings and fixed it.

Finishing mill i.e. hydrotester, facing m/c, threading m/c, NDT improved the production from 500 pipes / day to 800 pipes / day with the same machinery and manpower.
Done Industrial engineering study i.e. time , motion study of whole plant. Improved the productivity. Line balancing study done.
For ISO, 10 digit, Numerica code prepared for each and every item of the plant.
Worked in the CMD secretariat and prepared monthly, annual reports of production, maintenance, machine utilisation etc.

ERW pipe plant--8 to 20" OD Mannesman Demag, Germany. Done erection, commissioning of  hydrotester 400 bar, facing machine, NDT, varnishing machine.

We have INCREASED production from AVERAGE 15,000 MT/ Month to 65,000 MT/ Month ( Maximum was 83,000 MT/ Month )—Billet caster + from 15,000 MT/ Month to AVERAGE 50,000 MT/ Month ( Maximum was 65,000 MT/ Month )—SLAB CASTER.  Construction steel ASTM Gr-40 and Gr-60. 　
Experience in steel sector in different areas e.g EAF, CCM & projects, production etc. Solved following problems ( 1 ) Cronic failure of slide gate cylinder of ladle-90 tonne at turret, CCM by checking internal leakage .
At Jindal converted plant capability from 5 1/2 to 7" OD seamless steel pipe at less cost approx. USD 0.3 Million when Mannesman Demag, Germany quoted , estimated USD 9 Million. Had prepared drawings.
