In under two years, without formal education in the field, I landed a Senior Analyst role - proof that passion, knowledge, and experience are formidable assets.

April 19th, 2012 Splunk had a break-out IPO

April 20th, 2012 feelings of anxiety and fear creep in about how to manage the newly generated wealth. 

I had to figure out how to get real income (real estate) into my portfolio. I needed something sending me checks.

Key lessons learned after the first IPO:

 -Set up my family for generational wealth
 -Own the result (don't put my future in someone else's hands)

Most people would take the cash.

"I wish I could retire."

I hear this all the time from people with $3M-$5M-$7M portfolios.

They're brilliant at building wealth.

But they feel trapped in their jobs.

Here's what they don't realize:

The result? $200K+ annually in tax-efficient cashflow.

It's not a secret method.

➤ Investable net worth: $842K
➤ That means 52% is locked in their primary residence.
➤ This doesn't generate the cashflow needed to replace a paycheck.

➤ Whether you're top 10%, 5%, or 1%—stocks stay constant.
➤ The difference isn't public markets.

The pattern is clear:
➤ Top 10% = Wealth trapped in assets (mainly their house)
➤ Top 1% = Wealth working through systems

If you're in the top 10% but still trading time for money, you likely don't have an income problem.

The middle class is shrinking. - you've heard it a thousand times.

50% of your net worth in company stock isn't a strategy.

Here's why this is so dangerous:

Your equity depends on this company.

That's not diversification.

That's concentration risk on steroids.

My rule of thumb is 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 hold more than 10% in any single asset.

Not because I'm conservative.
