Having departed Intrepid Travel after 17 years in the Travel industry I was motivated to do some significant green collar work. It is clear we can't wait for governments to do what is needed to tackle the creeping pandemic of climate change in the time action is required (NOW). I wanted to make my career next step focused on doing something immediate and practical that can be a catalyst for change right now. I want to be able to look my daughter in the eyes and say, I did something.

Drawing on my 5 or so years living in Egypt, I wanted to bring that nation's super tasty, fast and convenient vegetarian and vegan fare to the market. I believe this food can remove many of the barriers that might stop people from reducing their meat intake. Meat production is one of the major areas affecting climate change that we as common citizens can make a difference through our personal choices. We shouldn't however have to sacrifice taste - and if we get that bit right, then who knows where this journey might end up...... maybe the world is ready for global vegetarian franchise? Discovering this scenario is my dream. 

Right now I’ve discovered two such groups: 

- travel content creators who want to go full time doing what they love

- travel brand marketers who need more ROI data through the funnel to invest more heavily in the creator economy (I was previously in this camp myself)

I’m working on creating the bit in the middle that gives both sides what they need & creating a mutually advantageous ecosystem and growing an entire social commerce economy around it. 

With all the “normal” forms of discovery now in a total state of flux, working with creators is becoming the safer bet.
