At the time, it felt reasonable — two chapbooks or books.

I hit that goal before 2026 began.

I have two chapbooks coming out this year through two different small/independent presses.

There was always an expectation of secrecy when I was a child. I was made responsible for keeping the family skeletons in the closet. I was forced to hide guilt, shame, pain, trauma—my own thoughts and feelings—and the truth.
