I designed, built, and launched the Tandem Momentum framework to teach couples how to align their goals and achieve them together.

After giving it some thought, I told them that I help couples dream again.

Albert Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge."

As couples have kids and go through life, it is easy to forget how to dream, get curious, and solve problems with imagination.

Imagination is a muscle.

I give couples the frameworks they need to dream again.

What I love most about this example, which isn't highlighted in this short clip, is that I didn't have the privilege of meeting the wife until after the program was complete.

They are new parents, and it was impossible for them both to find a time to meet with me together.

So I met with the husband weekly, and they reviewed the course material on their own time.

I was genuinely curious to hear about her experience after they finished and was blown away by how well it worked.

Okay, the name-calling needs to stop 😅

I've heard some "colorful" language about me since I started coaching full-time.

In the last couple of weeks, I've had people describe me and my coaching with these words:

- Ruthless
- Ferocity
- Intense
- Incredible
- Enlightening

During one session this week, I called someone out who was clearly letting unimportant things distract him from his goal.

He was struggling with a fear of commitment.

I helped him see this and asked him to make a commitment then and there during the session.

"Nothing happens until after you commit." - Dan Sullivan.

I helped him commit, and then everything fell into place.

At the end of the session, I was about to apologize for pushing him a bit, and he stopped me and said, "No, this is why I pay you. This is great!"

Coaching isn't always comfortable, but it is always worth it!

I am candidly amazed by how much I've transformed as a coach over the last couple of months.

Turns out, when I committed 100% to my coaching, my own transformation started in ways I couldn't have anticipated.

Looking back... I'm glad I didn't get what I wanted when I wanted it.

Alex Hormozi once shared the story of buying a lottery ticket before becoming rich and famous.

Before announcing the winner, he felt a bit concerned that he might actually win.

He wanted to be able to say he became successful on his own.

Similarly, I've tried many different things over the years as I pursue my "impossible" goals.

Sometimes my attempts feel like buying lottery tickets.

Just taking shots in the dark and hoping it works.

Looking back, I'm grateful when I fail because it was a bad strategy that I learned from, and more importantly, I failed to BECOME who I needed to become through the strategy.

Achievement without becoming not only feels pointless, but it also doesn't stick.

I've heard that most lottery winners become bankrupt again within a few short years anyway.

This is because they failed to become wealthy with a wealthy mindset and habits.

The only way to sustainable success is through becoming.

There are no shortcuts.

I'm grateful I get to clock in and do the work.

Yes, sometimes I would like to snap my fingers and have more money, be more fit, or have perfect relationships...

But I wouldn't value it the same if I did, it wouldn't last, and I wouldn't feel better about myself.
