As a senior leader within a anti-racism technology organisation working with corporate clients, leading EDIA, Resourcing, Wellbeing and Communities, Outreach and Marketing and Comms,  I have successfully integrated strategic initiatives and antiracism diversity, inclusion, intersectionality, and technology approaches into their businesses to create better outcomes.

Supporting the technology industry. I work closely with corporate clients to develop and implement bespoke solutions through people processes and technology that address systemic racism and promote equity. This includes conducting intersectional anti-racism training for all levels of employees offering bespoke solutions and also consulting services. By fostering a culture of antiracism and actively engaging in conversations around race and racism, we can create inclusive environments that dismantle barriers and foster equal opportunities.

In addition to antiracism, I also prioritise intersectionality in my work.  This includes creating spaces for open dialogue, implementing inclusive policies and practices, and providing resources and support tailored to the unique needs of different intersectional identities, including understanding unique barriers that are in place. 

Working with clients and internal employees to understand the significant impact that technology has on society and the potential it holds to either reinforce or challenge existing biases and inequalities. As a technology-focused leader, I advocate for the ethical and responsible use of technology, ensuring that it does not perpetuate discrimination or harm marginalised communities. I actively promote antiracism & diversity and inclusion in tech product development, data collection and analysis, and algorithmic decision-making processes. By integrating an intersectional and accessible lens into technology, we can create products and systems that are more inclusive, equitable, and beneficial for all users.

Hey, I'm  Hannah, 

I’m an award-winning resourcing EDI and social impact consultant and a seasoned leader in justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. My purpose-driven journey has been fueled by a commitment to creating positive change. My experience spans industries such as Automotive, Construction, Retail, Financial Services, and Technology, where I’ve worked with some of the largest organisations and dynamic start-ups. My unique approach to antiracism and decolonisation drives transformation wherever I go.

As a South Asian, Muslim woman from the East African diaspora with ADHD, OCD, and hidden disabilities, I combine lived experiences with strategic knowledge in people-led functions and employee experience. I am committed to making the workplace more inclusive and equitable for neurodivergent people of the Global Majority by creating awareness and driving change in systems where they are most impacted but often excluded from the conversation.

I’ve featured and contributed to books, podcasts, panels, and keynotes on intersectional neurodiversity, disability antiracism, and inclusive workplace cultures. Today, I am excited to be working on my debut book and preparing to launch my eagerly awaited podcast.

♒️  I am a Diversity and Inclusion focused thought leader and an MBA with extensive experience managing programs that support mid-career professionals, building partnerships, and developing effective communication strategies.  I have a passion for working in high-performing teams, supporting the growth in people when they are most vulnerable, networking and influencing stakeholders both internally and externally, and measuring outcomes relentlessly.  

For two years, I stepped in to serve as Interim Director of FlexMBA Admissions where my focus was recruiting BIPOC folx, women re-entering the workforce, and veterans.  Under my direction, the program became nationally ranked, and the inaugural fall entering class was the largest in over 5 years.  The program continues to show year-over-year increases in enrollment.  For me the best part of working anywhere is getting to know people, listening to their stories, and helping them get closer to their career/life goals.  

Recently I managed a School of Business Board of Directors (25 members).  Leading change from within to drive innovation involved using data to understand gaps in representation of skills and demographics.  I convened and led a task force to identify bold hardworking alumni and other leaders across multiple industries to help direct policy and support a diverse student/alumni population.  My work helped to identify over half of the board and in 2023, two women of color were appointed Chair and Vice Chair!

My career spans over 20 years of program and project leadership across multiple industries from my volunteer NGO work to Consumer-Packaged Goods to Sports & Entertainment to Higher Ed an ultimately here in the Healthcare.  Constant themes have been thinking outside the box to support underserved groups, and driving new strategies which grow revenue and solve problems.

I have a passion for working in environments that foster innovation, truly welcome everyone, challenge the status quo, and measure outcomes relentlessly.
