If your AI email setup is "upload PDFs to a project and write a prompt," you've built a filing cabinet, not a system.

I see this approach constantly. Brand guide PDF, masterclass PDF, one big prompt that says "write me emails under 75 words, keep it friendly, add a CTA" It works. You get emails. They sound like marketing copy.

But the AI doesn't know which documents are rules to follow and which are references to pull from. Everything sits in one pile. The outputs are fine but never specific.

Here's the architecture I use instead:

Layer 1: Knowledge files (.md, not PDF) Brand voice, real customer reviews, product catalog, email performance data. These tell the AI how to think. Markdown preserves structure natively — PDFs get parsed through extraction that breaks tables and flattens headers.

Layer 2: Skills Procedural instructions the AI follows like a checklist. Campaign classification, output format, dynamic length rules, quality guardrails. When you upload an SOP as a knowledge file, the AI treats it as background reading. Structure it as a skill, and it treats it as a procedure to execute.

Layer 3: Connectors MCP integrations to Asana, Klaviyo, Google Drive. The approved copy feeds directly into task creation and campaign setup automatically.

The copy is 20% of the system. The other 80% is classification, intelligence, structured output, and automation.

In the spirit of the day, I'm sharing my latest win — because that's what we do.

I figured out Claude Code Remote Control.

Here's what that actually means in real life:

Set up your projects on your laptop. Then pick up your phone, go for coffee, walk the dog, go on a date — and manage the work being executed directly on your computer at home while you're out living your life.

Your laptop runs. Claude works. You move.

This is the kind of freedom I built this business for. And I'm sharing it because if it helps even one of you reclaim a few hours — or just a beautiful afternoon — then that's a good day.

Another MCP server just landed on my radar: Nano Banana.

I've been building AI-powered email marketing systems on top of Claude's MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors for months now.

Klaviyo, Shopify, Asana, Slack — all connected. Claude orchestrates the workflow.

Now there's a new one worth knowing about: Nano Banana.

It's an open-source MCP server that connects Claude to Google's Gemini image generation models. Not an official connector — it's community-built. But the architecture is the same MCP pattern.

👉 What that means in practice:
Claude can now generate images directly inside a workflow. No switching tabs. No exporting from one tool and importing to another.

People are already using it for:

✅ Newsletter thumbnails and blog headers — generated in the same session where Claude helped write the content. It already understands the themes and tone, so the prompts are better.

✅ Batch image generation from spreadsheets — feed a CSV with platform specs, aspect ratios, and style notes, and generate 10+ images at once.

✅ Social media and marketing assets — LinkedIn banners, launch graphics, social cards, all through conversation.

✅ YouTube thumbnails — full skill-based pipelines generating thumbnails at ~$0.07 each.

✅ Image editing — pass an existing image and say "remove the background" or "change the headline text." Natural language, no Photoshop.

For e-commerce email? Think hero images for campaigns. Product lifestyle shots. Seasonal banners — generated in the same session where you're writing copy and building the campaign in Klaviyo.

The honest take: this isn't replacing a designer for polished brand work. But for "good enough to ship" visuals — blog headers, quick social assets, email banners — it removes a whole step from the workflow.

I haven't tested it in production yet. But the direction matters.

Every new MCP connector is another capability Claude can call on. Copy. Data. Project management. Design. The system gets more complete with each one.

👉 That's the shift:
You're not learning individual tools anymore. You're building a system where AI coordinates the tools for you.

Okay, so I definitely think I am onto something really cool here in Figma. I am still looking for some forward-thinking Figma designers to join me on figuring this out and learning together, because the workflows I am building now with Claude and MCP's are definitely going to take everything to a completely new level.
